Apollo - The SKI system is all over the place, but life/death runs are rare.

The only one I've seen was a death run in 2006, and the entire complex fell apart.

We'll see.

A note on former poster Jeff Kern's system SKI

I believe (not positive - don't subscribe) last Thursday concluded his "life run" which is a rare event. Maybe some poster knows better, but I haven't seen a life run in 20 years.

A once in a generation event, if it means anything.

Also thanks Mugs for keeping the forum alive.

Nice call on SBSW Apollo. It really was just tax selling.

@ Disney & Ted - Ted was no match for Disney and really who would be? It was the same paper short argument as today. I remember Disney telling Ted that his long term was meaningless because none of us would live to see it. Seems like he was spot on.

Thank you Apollo for the detailed explanation. And thank you Erle.

Happy New Year to you, Frus, Hambone, Mugs, GSPOT, Jesse, Tom . I know I forgot a bunch of the old crew. I go back to the 90s and most of you were there.

Apollo - SBSW

They recently had mining deaths plus SA.

Considering the public fundamentals, could there be more going on that would make us bagholders?

Frustrated - I hesitated to mention a negative opinion, but I remember Trotsky's posts that Drooy was the most out of favor stock on the board based on some indicator he followed.

But that was Trotsky. Always looking for a different way of looking at things.

RIP

Sad news to hear about Trotsky's passing.

Great poster from the golden age of our board.

Happy New Year all.

I know Sibanye-Stillwater SBSW has been a board favorite.

The P/E and yield almost don't make sense.

Thoughts?

Purchased Westdome long ago after you discussed on the board.

Thank you all for the comments on FSM.

It's interesting that there were conflicting ideas, yet all might be right.

It is likely a great buy at $3.50 as Apollo/Gspot have suggested, but AF is right. I started dumping with the Roxgold announcement.

I'll pass, even though there's likely good opportunity.

Hambone, Frustrated, Apollo, Gspot, Mugs, AF, or any of the greats.

FSM.

How is the company fundamentally? Can it weather any storm if the metals remain stable?

I'm not asking price. Is there anything that anyone can see currently that would prevent FSM from being viewed as an option that doesn't expire?

OK this is great. Thanks all for the help.

My 2 cents: all PM investing - less other stuff.
