Mars and Earth in alignment with the Sun, now thru the next holiday season.
Any CME from Sun passes by Earth on the way to Mars, so it’ll be an opportunity to seed our orbit with the latest science project, with the idea that it’ll find a home on Mars.
You can build a model of this around the Carrington event.
