Oil ought to be screaming but it's not. Commodities on the whole should be up fairly big but they are not. Oil in other parts of the world is $30 higher than wtic. So what gives. Well you can't have the stock market down and commodities up, it isn't good for the US image. A new definition of rigor mortis, rig until the economy is stoned cold dead.

I tell ya, AI info videos are a sin to any thinking person. Just think of the memory storage those videos take up when to produce them it only takes a few minutes for an AI to generate. No wonder the children in Silicon Valley need more electrical power. I miss the good old days of the Disney produced animations.

Anyone heard from John Disney, last time I knew he was living in Australia. The fights between him and Big Bob were epic.

Parted ways with some precious metals on Tuesday, it was time to take some profits. Better to take some off the table now than to get heisted by the feds later. Has been a good run and silver is up a 13 bagger since my first large buy but gold is only up a little over 10 times. Plan to take out 3 month treasuries until I can finalize needed home repairs. So what if metals soar a bunch more I'm still in the game.

Trying to attract newbies for fun and games? look no further than the model of big box stores. Big box stores have everything that you need right now although there isn't much selection. What this site could do to get more newbies involved is have representatives that deal in pokeman cards, baseball cards, matchbox cars and the assorted plethora of fantastical wonderments.  Cater to whomever just to get the numbers up OR keep it as is, a site for geezers that have seen a lot of things in life. Old timers that know their stuff when it comes to talking precious metals. How to dig them up, what are great locations for investing, who are the best metals mining administrations, what prices to look for to enter a position. Who cares if there are other sources of making money like cryptos and stuff, that is not what this forums forte is and as for other sources of making money the list is longer than my arm. There are farmer forums, crypto forums, adventurer forums and hardly any have more than just those that are interested in what that particular forum can offer. I don't post here much as I don't have much to offer but this is about the only forum that I read as it has pro metals guys like me.

bufford, in reply to your #40320, Yales skull and bones was in existance for 40 years before mention in the press even though there was rumors of the secret society before hand.

19th century

Skull and Bones was founded in 1832 after a dispute among Yale debating societies Linonia, Brothers in Unity, and the Calliopean Society over that season's Phi Beta Kappa awards.[3] William Huntington Russell and Alphonso Taft co-founded "The Order of the Skull and Bones".[3][4] The first senior members included Russell, Taft, and thirteen other members.[5] Alternative names for Skull and Bones are The Order, Order 322 and The Brotherhood of Death.[6]

The first extended description of Skull and Bones, published in 1871 by Lyman Bagg in his book Four Years at Yale, noted that "the mystery now attending its existence forms the one great enigma which college gossip never tires of discussing."[7][8]   https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skull_and_Bones

Fake outrage:

    Hala Jaber @HalaJaber - 9:53 UTC · Jun 19, 2025

🔴 IMPORTANT: Israel is yelling “hospital!” to distract from the real headline - the actual targets. Iran didn’t strike Soroka Hospital directly, it hit IDF’s C4I & cyber ops HQ in Gav-Yam tech park, Be’er Sheva:

    📍 Digital command & C4ISR systems
    👥 Thousands of troops stationed
📏 Just 1–2 km from the hospital, not “far,” not “accidental,” not “random.”

The military intelligence nerve center was the real target.
Soroka’s damage? Collateral from a strike on an active war machine.

PS: If you set up a military base next to a hospital, don’t act shocked when the windows rattle.

Frequently Asked Questions about Operation Blue Roof
world globe

Operation Blue Roof is a program offered by FEMA through the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to eligible homeowners and landlords. It provides a temporary covering of blue plastic sheeting to help reduce further damage to property until permanent repairs can be made.

The blue plastic sheeting is installed using strips of wood that are secured to the roof with nails or screws. The homeowner/landlord must legally agree to allow the Corps contractors access to the property by signing a Right of Entry (ROE) form.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Right of Entry?

The Right of Entry (ROE) is a legal requirement that allows Corps workers to access your property and assess damage to your home.  The ROE also allows contracted crews to work on your roof.
How does a homeowner, landlord or renter get a Blue Roof?

Residents sign up for the program at “Right of Entry” centers throughout the affected area. “Right of Entry” centers are named for the Right of Entry form that residents fill out granting permission for the Corps of Engineers and its agents to go onto individual properties to install the temporary roof. Residents can call toll free 1-888-ROOF-BLU (1-888-766-3258).https://www.fema.gov/fact-sheet/frequently-asked-questions-about-operation-blue-roof

Ben, 31242, nice theory on gov/bitcoin. I couldn't think of a more profound way to wipe dollars from existence. When bitcoin collapses the dollar evaporates into the ether, truly astounding thinking on the gov's part.

HoldGold, #30722 . Tried to open the X link in two web browsers to no avail. Funny how years ago in a time before mega bytes per second we couldn't open a link because the file was too large and here today we can't open a link because someone doesn't want us to take a peek for some reason.

Pretty interesting. Spent quite a bit of time in the Texas outback. Always enjoyed Texas except for driving time to anywhere.
