It is great to see posts about gold and gold stocks for a change. Thanks to Apollo/Mugwump primarily. Too much "Geezer Therapy" here.

Anyway, I like gold stocks in here. These lows will either hold, or we have a quick dump along with the stock market for several days. I think that if you buy shares now, you won't regret it looking out several months . I have added 20% misc juniors, + GDX, +GDXJ and some silver in recent weeks.

Some technical indicators that haven't flashed in years are flashing. eg. 65 day rate of change under -30%.

I went to the VanEck site. The NAV for RSX was $2.98 versus a market price of $8.26 as of yesterday. Yikes.

M-Stew is Mike Stewart. I just don't have much to say these days. These gold markets are tough to read. I like bullion more than the PM shares and have for several months. A 2 to 2.5 month washout in the shares would set up something better. Cash isn't bad.

Frustrated,

Yes, I have always viewed the 2018 low as "the" low for this cycle. I like to draw a line that rises at 20% per year from that point. A close below would be a sell signal for gold stocks. It hasn't happened yet and we are 21% above it right now. I use the MG135 gold index that comes with Worden Bros. TC2000 software. Over the years, it has been a good index to track. As long as we are above that, it is just spikes/corrections for trading in a bull market. Target longer term for gold shares is just over 2X where we are today.

I can see things going either way over the new month or two so I have some positions and lots of cash. My gold and silver bullion ETF allocation is 100% invested from the $1720 and $22.50 levels
