Mugs - thanks for reply. Clive is very bullish the metals and miners. I think what he is trying to get across here is an opportunity for front running on both the buy and sell sides before the 19th if you are nimble enough. Not for me though I am too slow and a hodler of my miners I hold for the long term all of which are 1 baggers so far at this point. The thing is I hate it being caught in a 10- 20% down draft when I could have sold and crystallized a gain -- you know how it is. If this Van Eck thing is no big deal then will just disregard Clive.

Van Eck Re rating 19th Sep -- should one pre-empt and sell the miners that Van Eck are dumping ie EQX  which is already down 4% today.
Watch video from Clive who details the re-rating of $2bill to come.
Is it worth front running -- perhaps the gurus like Mugwump and AF on this sight will know ? Is this a big deal or not ? -- I am just a dumb caveman and have no idea.

Should NOT be restricted from reading this forum by being forcibly made to sign in.
This is clearly against the Geneva convention and is an act of outright war !
Mobilization of all forces are being activated with Air Strikes against the perpetrators.
Will keep Scott Ritter advised of any further developments.

(from the other site)

The intricacies of the conspiracy.

The Chinese biological laboratory in Wuhan is owned by Glaxo.

Glaxo is owned by Pfizer (makers of vaccines)

Pfizer is run by Black Rock funds.

Black Rock manages SOROS FOUNDATION.

SOROS FOUNDATION serves France’s AXA.

AXA owns the German company Wintertor.

Wintertor built Chinese laboratories in Wuhan.

Acquired by a Franco-German alliance.

Next we come out to Vanguard as a shareholder and meet Black Rock again.

Black Rock controls central banks and manages a third of the world’s investment capital.

By the way, it’s also a major shareholder in MICROSOFT.
(owned by Bill Gates), which in turn is a shareholder of PFIZER and the first sponsor of who? That’s right, it’s the World Health Organization.

Re Silver Bullion Singapore -- I can confirm after a recent visit to their vault in Singapore that this organization is the real deal for anyone considering an alternate jurisdiction for vaulting. The new vault is huge, security top notch (we had to go through a very thorough security check), and staff extremely honest and genuine. Also Singapore govt is AU friendly having  been a recent large buyer of AU. Something to seriously consider for those concerned about potential govt expropriation  as has happened in the past.

Thanks Mugwump -- I new there were problems in Mali but did not know that a coup has occurred . What to do now - bail out or hold ?

I also hold Newmont, Equinox, Calibre and Karora (by default through Westgold) which are all holding or up a bit.

Mugwump, how do you keep up with all the news in view of the huge number of stocks your involved with ?

Placed my buy for Kinross today -- didn't get it -- it took off too fast. I don't chase Gold Miners regardless -- suffered too much pain in the past when I chased.
This stock picking is for geniuses only -- that's not me. Is there an index containing all the majors that can be bought ? -- ie an index that contains  Barrick,
Kinross, Agnico, Newmont, all seniors etc . My understanding is that GDX only reflects the juniors> Both Alamos and Artemis look really interesting, but have
also run up quite a bit recently - no  "bargains" out there right now -- not going to fall for FOMO anymore. Success in this game is always in the buying -- if
you buy too high you are generally cooked. Have to always buy low and sell high or not buy at all.

From another forum  ---

" A Small taste of Rambus Weekend Report

I know the title of this Weekend Report may sound a little bold, but after tracking the 2020 trading range from every imaginable point of view I can say with a strong vote of confidence that the beginning of the next important advance in its secular bull market for Gold, that began at the 2000 low, is underway.

We could still see a backtest to the breakout point, but that would just be part of the breaking out and backtesting process.

Lets start with the weekly chart for the GLD which shows the 2020 trading range which I’ve labeled as a flat top expanding triangle. This nearly 4 1/2 year consolidation pattern can also be called a cup and handle or a H&S consolidation. At this point it’s just semantics.

Last Monday March 4th you can see the breakout from the 2020 bullish expanding falling wedge. Its a bit hard to see on this long term weekly chart, but if you look at the thumbnail on the right sidebar you can see the breakout gap that occurs on Monday. The top trendline of the 2020 trading range has always been tough to figure out exactly where to draw it, you know one was there, but there were several different ways it could have been drawn. With the breakout gap last Monday there is no doubt on how the top rail can now be applied.
