Apollo...... what about an army of menopausal women?
Maybe menopausal BLACK women!
That's if you don't mind decimating the numbers on welfare.

Or ...wait, wait.   Any black woman that you can convince that the enemy is screwing their husband.
Or ..boyfriend.
Too few married to require the title, "husband."
"Racist" is a toolword. You must know that.
Any objective examination of the effect of "them" has to lead you to the behavior and ideology that is now termed, "racist."

Refute if you can.

After what seemed like three days of non-stop football games, I finally figured out where the "Black Friday" designation derived. . . . In ads trying to sell cars, furniture, drugs, hamburgers, pizzas, ad nauseum, were featured, time and again, Black actors or Black celebrities ....so, that surely must be how we got "Black Friday" into play, right ?

Wee pop this morning, but a quick fade - no surprise. UER/NFP Friday, so tough week - good entry point this week is probably on Wednesday is where we should bottom. Metal may yet see that $1715-1720 area. $1747-1754 is definitely not going to hold

What's with PIVOT?

Every tom, dick and harry quotes pivot for any number of reasons. A word especially beloved of so-called financial gurus. It's getting to the stage, I'd happily strap all them (useless gurus) to a pivot and swing them over to a big fire. Isn't this overdramatized use of an old word the very essence of why EU and US can't come to term with events in Ukraine--they are so used to creating their own 'reality' and living in it, that they can't conceive the existence of any other 'reality'?
...the pivot explains all that there is to the whirld...

Elena sez….

“ In an interview with the BBC, Volodymyr Zelensky’s wife promised to “endure” despite all difficulties. According to her, her people is willing to continue fighting against the Russians and will not conform until victory is finally achieved. She claims that constant power shortages and heating problems will not be a problem, despite the coming of the harsh Ukrainian winter.

Elena says that 90% of Ukrainians are “ready” to live for “two to three years” without power and heat, adding that “We are ready to endure this (…) We’ve had so many terrible challenges, seen so many victims, so much destruction, that blackouts are not the worst thing to happen to us (…) You know, it is easy to run a marathon when you know how many kilometers there are (…) Sometimes it can be very difficult. But there are some new emotions that help us to hold on”.

Will all the meter readers be fired….and sent to the frontline 🤣

I'm with Apollo in feeling we could at least see $1720. on any further weakness...for sludge followers, the $20.55 area is a 50% retracement point of the previous low at $18.80 to the last high at $22.25....below that, a .618 target would be $20.10....it'd be worth a buy IF we do get to $20.10.....juss mah opine....

Yea, not much to do here - $1733 is a ST Triple-Bottom & won't hold. Its a quick trip from there to $1715-1720 - would say given the UER, this all a done deal

Mugs: As a bored retiree, I watched many of the daily summaries of the 6 weeks of hearings in Canada over the Trucker convoy. In my opinion, the decision to invoke the Emergencies Act was discussed from the outset. There were emails between 2 Cabinet Ministers joking ( maybe) about using the military and rolling out tanks to solve the blockade. So I do not believe it was Biden calling 2 days before invoking the Act was the reason it was enacted. It might have given the wimp (turdhole) a bit of encouragement to make a decision though. He had been floundering from the outset of the protest, which by the way, the Governments knew was going to Ottawa, at least 10 days before they got there.  I suspect the result of the hearings will say that the law is antiquated and was developed before internet and social media were part of the picture and white wash it like that. So the law needs to be brought up to date. The Liberals ( Turdhole) has been in power since 2015. Why has a major law in the country not been updated? I believe the Federal Liberals had this planned from the time the trucks started rolling.  They saw a window to invoke control to test how things might work like seizing bank accounts of ordinary people. This hardly got discussed at the hearings. To me that was the final straw against the Government. Yes it had to be cleared up but the Liberals contributed to the screw ups of the first 3 weeks to their advantage and was planned. The blame fell on the RCMP, Ottawa Police and our intelligence community ( CSIS). The whole thing could have been resolved in a few days if the Liberals had played ball and met with the Protester leaders.  That was refused. JMVHO.

Having perused the morning news on the  comings and goings and earnest words of European politicos, the message is clear. All the ills that have beset poor Europe is either a residual COVID effect or, more likely, the doings of the wicked Russians. That Putin must be a very powerful chief. He has achieved so much mayhem even without waving his magic wand, or casting an evil eye over Europe.  And the other playground bully in the world is demanding the EU's lunch money. Tough to be a European in the waning light of the old world.

Crypto….more problems

“ BlockFi, a crypto loan and borrow platform, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Monday, becoming the latest crypto firm to go under following the rapid collapse of offshore trading venue FTX.

Started in 2017 by Zac Prince and Flori Marquez, BlockFi was one among several crypto companies to introduce lending and borrowing where customers could use cryptocurrencies as collateral.”

Elon Musk’s latest tweet…

The cynic in me (and I honestly never was this way 10 years ago) has me wondering if this entire twitter mechanism is being used like the old mosquito zappers you would hang from a tree branch to attack and then torch them so you would enjoy your backyard bite free.

As long as the deplorables and regime dissidents are silenced, the regime can not intensify them, round them up and haul their butts off to reeducation camps.

It isn't like these Zionist communists have been quiet about their plans.  To wit;

They have the guns and therefore we are for peace and for reformation through the ballot. When we have the guns then it will be through the bullet.
Saul Alinsky

The organizer must become schizoid, politically, in order to slip into becoming a true believer. Before men can act an issue must be polarized. Men will act when they are convinced their cause is 100 percent on the side of the angels and that the opposition are 100 percent on the side of the devil. He knows there can be no action until issues are polarized to this degree.
Saul Alinsky

The very first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom -- Lucifer.

3369....I'm not in the least surprised, PB 1, as there were a lot of really decent firearms  being offered on Black Friday at very attractive prices....I ended up picking up a coupla "home defense" .20 gauges with 8 round capacity for $149./ea, plus $30. shipping for the pair....They aren't at my local FFL's shop as yet, but the company noted that they were 10-days to 2 weeks out on shipping....

bufford……” not bad”

Interesting…appears to be some good grades….the data shows the length of the the interception…but not the length of the the drill hole…and is that pic with the blue the water table? If that is the case, then the drill holes 50,51,52 were drilling below the water table with the 50 degree drilling angle .
Will be a tough nut to crack…just what is the plan to recover the gold…?
Ore.     Is that on a need to know basis…?

What gets my 🐐…most of the reports brag about the great “intercepts” but fail to mention how far to the center of the earth 🌍

Spending a billion cash to recover a billion in gold is not how the big miners think🧐

Zigg, that picture is not the water table on the Fortitude results. It is a plan view, a birds eye view from above of an open pit mine with more or less horizontal drills. Looks like great results to me.

Couple of important points on Guanajuato results.
Still basically in startup phase with their properties that they invested in this year.
AISC dropped below 20 dollars, quite a change there from earlier, and looks to be dropping further as synergies kick in.
Cash costs down to almost 13, should drop more as well.
They have the man, Ramon Davila, who was a major reason First Majestic grew so quickly, on board with all his expertise and local connections. Not to be undersold as a positive for them.
Basically tripled production, and a lot more room to grow looking forward all with a huge land position so a ton of unknown potential.
Production is in Fresnillo district, does not get much better than that historically.

2 more,

Morien, I am expecting dividend policy resuming after a few years soon. That will put them on the radar for many.

Gold Terra, all cashed up for next year with min dilution thanks to the CEO's connections who turned Detour into a billion dollar company, so , right on schedule that he laid out, now, drill baby drill. One more thing, this 12 cemt stock already has a significant resource proved up, this is no moose pasture drilling stock.

New heart valve today....
Stiii above ground. Lil extra bonus.
Got home after hellacious day. First day (day of procedure) hunky dory.
They don't let you elevate the head of the bed (?)
Sooooo sore as hell post op.
But home..... However when clipping off my wristbands, I see an anomaly.
The dumb discharge nurse ....forgot....to remove an IV LINE!

Soooooo i callem and the lady is aghast.
They wanted me to come back to the hosp to get it removed.
Only a 3 hour round trip at that time of day.

Finally after much cursing and threats, they arranged for a nearby hosp to remove it.

Next time I'll go to Wuhan.

America is on the ropes.

I mentioned to the nurse who took it out that
I would lay money on a SEVERE reprimand!
"Racist" is a toolword. You must know that.
Any objective examination of the effect of "them" has to lead you to the behavior and ideology that is now termed, "racist."

Refute if you can.

RACK @ 3372....those are pumps, but with the 18" barrels and extended magazine tubes that hold 7 of the 2 3/4" rounds, plus one in the chamber....they also handle 3" rounds, but you drop to 6 + 1 on that option.....I haven't seen many "defensive" type shotguns that are semi-autos, anyway, but I'm sure they're more in the $300.+ range....

3378.....I had a somewhat similar experience some while ago when I had a wireless pacemaker installed...... had it not been for the "finalizer" stopping by in the recovery room to check my BP and pulse, I'd have probably walked out with one of those damned IVs myself......He was the anesthesiologist who actually was there just to confirm that the anesthesia had worn off significantly enough so I could be signed out....Needless to say, he was pissed and let the last nurse who'd seen me in recovery know it....One would think that the medical folks who handle such things day in and day out would just automatically double check stuff like that, but, obviously they're not  being paid enough to actually perform such duties, eh?

ADP a little weak - 127K versus estimate of 200K - but initial 3Q GDP strong at 2.9%. Gold is obviously betting that now that the election is over, we can get back to "real" dismal employment numbers???

Cruisin’ for a Bruisin’, or, Don’t Spit in the Well
November 27, 2022 48 Comments

By Batiushka for the Saker blog

The fact is that there is a universal spiritual law, the law of cause and effect, that when you do something good, there are always good consequences, and when you do something bad, there are always bad consequences. Sooner or later. Anyone who has lived a little can confirm it from experience. Basically, you simply cannot get away with it. And this is what is happening to the Western world today. It’s payback time.

The Perfect Storm

I mention consequences because the history books of the future will be asking the question: ‘Where did the perfect storm in the Western world in 2022 come from’? One thing for sure, it did not come out of the blue. Any number of dates will be put forward as the origin, as far back as 1492 and even further back, for instance, the First Crusade in 1096. From more recent dates we could suggest:

1917, when after nearly three years the US elite entered the first part of the Europeans’ twentieth-century Civil War, having forced Russia out of it through violent regime change. To this day these utterly corrupt Western propagandists justify this cunning strategy by declaring that the Tsar’s government was utterly corrupt (sic!) and going to collapse anyway (sic!) and all were well rid of it (sic!). Some people actually believe that propaganda. They should investigate it objectively, instead of naively swallowing the West’s self-justification for creating the conditions for its genocide.

1944, when US forces invaded and occupied Continental Europe, making it into the first US-occupied Eurasian peninsula, just as they later did with other Eurasian peninsulas, (South) Korea, and (South) Vietnam, in the latter of which they were defeated.

1991, when the USSR collapsed and was (briefly) colonised by the US, leaving chaos and poverty with Chicago-style gangsters everywhere and millions dying of despair and drinking themselves to death.

2014, when the US took over the Ukraine in a violent regime-change coup.

2021, when the US was humiliated in Afghanistan.

2022, when the US clearly began to lose against Russia’s war of liberation of the Ukraine, its equipment and its relations with Western Europe in ruins.

We will leave other dates and the details of the debate to the history books of the future. But the debate will be there, you’ll see. However, beyond the detail that we can leave to the disputes of the academics, the main question that future generations will be asking is: ‘However did the Western world think it could get away with it?’ Where did its delusion come from? These are the questions I will be trying to answer below.

zigg i do not believe in hope and or luck. If you are talking investing. I spent 40 years on what turns the flow. then you have to have an envelope for risk.(no person bigger than mkt or corruption) this becomes your stop loss.

Mike, that FBI shootout that killed a bunch agents was partly because of a Remington 1100 in 20 ga. The bad guys cut down the barrel and the 1100 ate up so much of the recoil that shot to shot recovery time was about zero. Nasty weapon.

I do not get how Osisko delivers a killer feasibility study and the stock gets hammered. More than other gold stocks, that is.  This will likely be the biggest gold mine in Canada. The company has good relations with the Provincial gov't as well.  Holding and buying because something will have to change.
