Doug Noland for anyone with an interest
http://creditbubblebulletin.blogspot.com/2022/11/weekly-commentary-sbf-ftx-and-qe.html
Weekly Commentary: SBF, FTX and QE
An outlandish aberration, or a distressing sign of the times - and of what’s to come? Curious readers for centuries have been fascinated by the great 17th century Dutch Bubble. “At the peak of tulip mania, in February 1637, some single tulip bulbs sold for more than 10 times the annual income of a skilled artisan.” Seems rather quaint compared to today’s world of boundless digital tokens. The FTX collapse has been called crypto’s “Lehman Moment.” Odds favor the downfall having more in common with the March 2008 Bear Stearns implosion.

Cherokee.. So we got 6 inches yesterday and another 2 inches last night. Right now there is a huge storm blowing and dropping snow about 2 miles east of me. The weather people said we would get dumped on if wind changed from west to south. It did. Currently sunny and 32 deg F. Still forecast to get 2 feet tonight here though. We shall see. Bad weather usually runs up from Watertown and goes just east of us.  Highway 401, about 3 miles north of me, link between Montreal & Toronto, getting pounded just north of me. Lots of whiteouts and sections closed.  Good job my snowblower does not run on diesel. HAHA. Only 91 octane.

Cherokeeee, I told Mrs. PB1 that the first thing that Texas should have done is mined the open gaps in the border and put up skull and crossbones warnings of mining fields.  This would have been the most clear message to invaders that we don't want their tales coming in to the US illegally.

Initially, she disagreed but not any longer.

Instead of pirating tax payer funds off to Ukraine to be laundered and sent by to criminal communists in both major political parties, we should have been sending sorties to the cartel drug facilities and lighting them up.

So I went to bed expecting 2 feet of snow when I woke up. Instead a bright moon and no snow. So as much as it looked like we were going to get hammered yesterday, the overnight sky parted with the snow going south ( Watertown) and north ( Hwy 401).  So hopefully the warm weather of this week coming will melt the snow we got.  Whew, leave the snow tires in the garage. With warmer weather and deer season over, maybe I can get to the range for an afternoon of shooting. Certainly politics and markets are not a reason to stay glued to the computer.

BIS buys 500 tons of gold
banks now need physical
https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2022-11-18/why-has-bis-bought-back-500-tonnes-gold

Here is ANOTHER (?) case of are we asking the right questions….🧐

Just where did the BIS get the money to buy 500 tons….???
Keeping in mind the BIS is not really a “bank” per say….but the BIS is more or  less guaranteeing that checks going thru central banks of the whirld are “ good”
They do this by requiring all central banks to have gold on deposit at the BIS….if a poor third whirld country does not have the gold or don’t have the money to buy gold, then the BIS will offer their services and lease some gold to these poor nations of the whirld
That’s their gig…holding the little guys hostage under the BIS cross of gold
Do a little DD on the BIS and you will realize this is a very strange beast..
Check their website 🧐

Did you know not too long ago that the BIS payed their dividends in gold francs…?

Just saying…..Zigg

Will AZ be the state were the election fraud will be revealed to the whole nation…?

https://thepostmillennial.com/breaking-arizona-ags-elections-integrity-unit-demands-response-from-maricopa-county-over-election-delays-failures

What’s missing in the proof of fraud is the “code” inside the Dominion tabulators
The white hats “ good hackers” will find this mysterious code that always guarantees a Dem victory…
Hard to say how long this might take….maybe Santa will bring us the results 🙃

So what is the difference in selling a new crypto coin and selliing AIR…?
With either the hard earned funds to buy go down a rabbit hole with no zip code

Reminds me of a story my neighbor told me..
He was talking to a guy and asked him what he did..
The guy told him he sells air….went on to explain he sold title insurance….never ever had to pay a dime out….the money just flowed IN to his bank account 🤣

I share here, something I shared with my peeps...

Wow, Guanajuato is really getting some attention now. When they basically stole those assets from a former mining darling, that I never reco'd for various reasons, Great Panther Resources that is in finanical trouble now, they changed their game. I had already owned some, but added a ton after this news. You can hear more in the vid from somebody else, the mining stock info starts around halfway thru.

In the mining expert's video below, he calls it one of his top 3 picks out of all mining stocks in existence. The other 2 top picks, I also really like fwiw. He also briefly talks about 7 other stocks, some of which I dont like, but he kind of explains the risk for some, like Silvercorp which is a great company by the numbers, but is in China, so off the list for me. Another, Aras, I have to re look into. It has a great potential gold property in Columbia, but has political risk, plus was being run previously by a bit of a scam artist, that I am sure must be gone??, but have to see who he was replaced by.

Anyways...

My little pick GRVSF,  has really made some great strides this year. I first legged in I guess a couple years ago, but really added to my position of late. I did some napkin numbers on Guanauato, and will share below. Important fact, they were at 1.7 million equivalent silver ounces, and end of year will be at 3.0 million. I had thought they would be at 4.3 million end of next year, but now they are saying 6 million and down the road could be double that. This really adds to the bottom line!!

So my rough number, and this is not a crazy valuation or super conservative either, but something that I have found thru the years is fairly accurate as long as there are no other problems which miners can and do have of course, so a successful no problem year of production is needed, plus a fairly valued market, which now is very undervalued. I will spare you how I do it, so I just give the number.

So Guanajuato value right now per my system with the cost below plugged in, and a 3 million production level.
= 0.80 cents

at 6 mill per year which it should be at next year, and at a 12 dollar per ounce all in cost or AISC, this is what you get. It is now around 0.30 cents for the record, as you can see, this stock could easily be a 10x and that is in a calm, not crazy metal market valuation. In a crazy market as we have seen, you can double that number or more.

at 20 dollar silver, = 1.20 per share

at 30 dollar silver, = 2.70

at 40 dollar silver, = 4.20

at 50 dollar silver, = 5.70

at 100 dollar silver, = 13.20

at 500 dollar silver, = 75

ps , added short interview from GSVRF

Just in case….
You need to feed 25 friends….and only one 🦃
Years ago we were having a slim crowd for thanksgiving….got to asking friends what they were doing for thanksgiving….if they said nothing….Zigg invited them to his table.
My dear Parky ( she could “move”at that time…not so much now) asked me how many friends I had invited…counted up and came up with 25 guests..
She asked me how I was going to feed 25 people with one turkey….told her watch..😁
Set the food up buffet style….just like the all you can eat places
Salad first in line…then about half a dozen yummy side dishes…then the potatoes n gravy thing…a homemade buns….and then my guests come to the bird….but their plates were so full they asked for a small piece of meat…
Ended up with turkey leftovers…..😂

3047....Zigg, we're not hosting a slug of relatives this Turkey Day....the daughter and her family are going down to her stepbrother's and our son & his kids are heading to Spokane to his girlfriend's then down to Pullman to the "Apple Cup", the long-standing rivalry game 'tween WA and WSU.....we're going OUT to a nearby restaurant hosting a large buffet meal at $16.95/per for Seniors....I could hardly buy 1/3 of what we'd need if we were cooking for 10+ kids & grandkids for that $34.00 cheap dining ......

Sludge be sliding.....though it should see some support around $20.55...a bit more at $20.40 if that fails and a do-or-die situation if it gets to $20.10....below that, it's a long way to squillionaire's acres dragging a bucket of sludge along....

Have you noticed that when financial scribes (who produce reams of bumpf) don't know what to say, they resort to asking a question? Which they, of course, can answer and produce another wad of bumpf. Which the krill will lap up and swim in  the mouth the lurking whale just ready to slurp them up. Such is life. (The French said it better, but what the hell, we speak the lingo of Saxon peasants.)

There are instances where an individual can be forgiven for a mistake they have made.

“An error does not become a mistake until you refuse to correct it.”

For a mistake this serious, along with the stubbornness, ego and doubling down on the lie repeatedly, the individual responsible because culpable in mass genocide.

POG...the swings and numbers of NY price (as posted y KITCO), are totally irrelevant at my local farmers market (Fri. nights). A table will tell me just how many farm-raised chicken thighs I can buy for 1 gramme of gold. (Sorry, guys, who have to work out how many grains and fractional ounces a gramme-au contains!)

PS I see the 'murican spell check does not approve gramme.

3082....I dunno how SillyCon Valley real estate is doing, but things up norf here are definitely being discounted -- heavily in some cases, like big McMansions in the Million+ ranges.....I was talking with the realtor who found our current home for us years ago...He's seeing only smaller 'cookie cutter' frame homes (generally 25+ years old or more) in the under-$500K range actually selling in this inflated mortgage rate environment. . .Many of those 1.5M to 2M properties are showing price drops of $100K and more -- several times -- after sitting on the market for 60 or more days.....I'm betting it's as bad or worse there in IT country.....
