5498...you weren't alone....I immediately evaluated the heavy gummint propaganda campaign as highly suspect and decided against it....and convinced most of my friends and family also to abstain....several of them, however, were forced by their employers to get the jab....two had scheduled a trip to Hawaii which was mandating that any tourists have proof of vaccination, so they succumbed....Many of our other friends, though, also opted to 'wait and see' and decided against it months after the initial TV push and commercial messages using "celebrities" to urge the jabs....

This is kind of insightful. I guess when they run out of Ukrainians willing to fight it will be over. If the Russians retreat to the Dnieper River then I guess the rest of Ukraine goes on the auction block to the highest bidder.

Having worked for the SOB's for over 35 years I can not even count the number of lies that 'headquarters' attempted to shove down our throats.  By the time I had 20 years in I expected lies and was never disappointed.

In any large organization, the most worthless and unproductive people get to the top because these individuals were consistently no concerned with mission but careerism.  The best way to climb would be to tell those above you what they wanted to hear.  I saw it over and over again.

Gen. Milley is a prime example of an ass kisser.

@ Knapper   I went after his propaganda from the beginning asking him to deal with the Mrna fatality rate (100% in lab rats) some defended him saying he didn't have to answer the hard question ..he absconded
from the site..I was concerned some had listened to his drivel because he was in the pharmaceutical realm
and talked about his expertise.

PB1 finally getting some snow to speak of. This is the first time though that it has been accompanied by thunder and lightning. I was outside, the first couple of bolts startled me. My snowblower looked at me and said, do I finally get to go outside and play.

Ben,,,yes,,I remember your back-n-forth with him,,,I hope he is ok,,maybe he iz just a bit too prideful to admit he was wrong.

Like most of us here,,I could never understand why anyone healthy would take an experimental drug, being pushed by proven/documented liars and psychopaths, for something 99% of people would recover from.

Isn't it odd, that all of the drug ads on TV have a long list of side effects,,,but never once has there ever been any side affect of the MRNA shots or boosters ?

The majority of Russian soldiers are unhappy with their leaders' policies, a former doctor with Russia's security and spy agency FSB told CNN.

Maria Dmitrieva, 32, told CNN that she had been working as a doctor for the FSB before she fled to Europe, and that she collected secrets from the agency in order to prepare for her defection.

Dmitrieva said she flew from Moscow to France on October 12, 2022.

According to CNN, she's part of a flood of senior Russians, including soldiers, mercenaries, and FSB officials, who are arriving in Europe to escape the war.

US sending Abrams Tanks to Ukraine.

.........................

No A/C! Advanced modern tanks like the Abrams don't have air conditioning for the crew. (Though the latest model has a "Thermal Management System" to keep the computers cool in the desert.)
"Racist" is a toolword. You must know that.
Any objective examination of the effect of "them" has to lead you to the behavior and ideology that is now termed, "racist."

Refute if you can.

Do you even wonder if this whole pointless exerise to send vast military supplies to Ukraine to get destroyed by the Russians is part of a broader plan to invade the US from mostly male illegals across the southern border who will later be armed to concur the US with no military means to oppose the takeover?

All of this seems just a little too stupid to be anything over than a stealth takeover of the US.

I’d like to think we’re supporting a more corrupt government(the Ukraine) than our own but I’m not really sure.

However, I’d sooner we not support “democracy” anymore.

https://mises.org/wire/central-banks-turn-gold-losses-mount

Why do central banks increase their gold purchases just as losses appear on their balance sheets? To increase their reserve level, lessen losses, and foresee how newly created digital currencies may affect inflation. Since buying European or North American sovereign bonds doesn’t lower the risk of losing money if inflation stays high, it is very likely that the only real option if to buy more gold.

The central banks of industrialized nations will make an effort to shrink their balance sheets in order to fight inflation, but they will also discover that the assets they own are continuing to depreciate in value. A central bank that is losing money cannot immediately expand its balance sheet or buy more sovereign bonds. A liquidity trap has been set. Quantitative easing and low interest rates are necessary for higher asset values, but further liquidity and financial restraint may prolong inflationary pressures, which would then increase pressure on asset prices.

Mugs  we are finally getting a snow storm here including thunder and lightning.  Just waiting for a civil time to start up the snow blower. As for natural gas, my shares are suffering. It may makes sense that Ontario has gone so far thru a very warm winter. 10% of Ontario electricity comes from natural gas and Ontario is about 1/3 of Canada's people. We have surplus gas up here and the US does not seem to want it and so far the Liberals have been successful not getting much gas to the ocean.  We have had a number of European nations and Japan coming to Canada recently to get supplies of natural gas and every time Turdhole says no. So if we do not sell it the price goes down. JMVHO.

In April 2021, took the J&J jab because of hostile work environment. No side effects to date. J&J was "supposedly" constructed like historical vaxxes & did not have mRNA. Knapper said that.

Local newspaper obits are growing to two pages.  Vaxxecutions

So many people getting sick - calling it long covid. On greetings: "are you OK?" is asked with intense seriousness. Probably 85% vaxx rate here in Noreast Massachusetts.

Just keep my mouth shut. The milk is spilled. No sense telling others their time is probably limited to a few years, at best.

My job puts me in touch with the public. You can feel a wariness creeping into the vaxxecuted.

Another generation is found clueless.  Time magazine had a picture of Hitler on the cover as man of the year in the 1930s.  Those who will not learn from history are condemned to repeat it (or something along those lines)...

A rather "muted" reaction to this a.m.'s gummint reports.....jobless claims 186K (expected to be 205K), durable goods orders +5.6% (expected to be 2.4%!), real GDP at 2.9% -vs- 2.8% expected....in other words, flip a coin as to where we're heading from here.....

Q4 GDP Stronger Than Expected Due To Surge In Inventories, Offsetting Drop In Personal Consumption; Sets Up Negative Q1 Print

While the inventory destocking appears to be over, and inventories surged in Q4, the combined contributions of household consumption, capex, and residential investment was just 0.22%, the lowest since the second quarter of 2020.

Proportionately, silver is actually holding up better than I thought it would....at least for now....I'd bet otherwise IF we see gold drop under $1920.....

We typically would not see this kind of selling - esp in shares, on Thursday before the FED. See what we do tomorrow, but if we keep selling, then we might rally into the FOMC Mon-Wed.  Then we also have NFP on Friday 2/3 - makes it a bit tricky after the FOMC - probably sell the news into the NFP release on Friday 2/3.

Some sort of correction was due.

Were today’s economic reports the problem?  Nah.  Just the excuse. They’re worthless anyway.

Why is everyone, including the financial press, so excited about a 0.1% deviation between predicted and actual? FOR GOD'S SAKE, HAVE THEY NO IDEA OF THE ERROR INHERENT IN ANY MEASUREMENT? They too live in this world. Nothing can be measured with that accuracy (outside of physics). Especially in statistics. It's so dumb. People getting frantic about a meaningless number and moving billions around. And the astrologist have to do a  quick recount of those slippery buggers, the wavelets.

5580...I'd certainly like to think that blurb is satirical, although the "author" doesn't come forth at the close to indicate the absurdity of what was written....But, you hit the nail on the head....regardless of what was said by those who seriously questioned the shots, those "sheep" who lined up to take them and later shouted criticisms at those of us who did not have only themselves to blame for refusing to look at the reality behind those insidious vaccines.....they can go pound sand in my opinion....

5582....I wouldn't rule it out, although, with a much smaller population base, it seems a bit strange.....From what I've heard talking to several old buddies who are still there, there's still work available in the oil fields and wages are still better than most other jobs, so I'd think that might be an attractor for a lot of them....at least those who want to actually work and not just live on gummint doles....

Funny that guy mentioned that.....a dear old friend of mine runs this "lunch only" hamburger place in downtown Odessa........

https://www.yourbasin.com/local-news-2/the-permian-basin-hamburger-company/

Last time we chatted over the Christmas holidays, he mentioned that he's convinced there are now over 18+ large and small Mexican restaurants and Taco Trucks scattered throughout the town and suburbs.....So, maybe that's how all the river-waders are surviving in wind-blown West Texas, eh?

LSteve and Tractor Supply.

TSC must have done something to tick off tptb and are getting the shaft by publicity. I use Tsc but not as much as Rural King. Traffic at Tsc has always been less than half of RK. Tsc has good quality products that is somewhat better than Rk on the whole but less of a selection.

At Tsc I have to sign for the grandkids bb ammo. Not at Rk.

Nuke War, Bioweapon Awakening, Dollar Dies & Paul Craig Roberts
By Greg Hunter On January 27, 2023

https://usawatchdog.com/nuke-war-bioweapon-awakening-dollar-dies-paul-craig-roberts/

When you take in ALL this, including the info on the US military's development of CV19 injections over two decades, you will finally come to the same conclusion PB1 has come too.  And that is that all the players in this genocide need to be given fair trials first and if found guilty really should be executed by firing squad.

The reasonableness of such an outcome is logical in that it stems from the charge of treason.

And PB1 is part Irish.  The statement above is something I heard back in the 1960s.

5594....yeah, lonestar, that certainly sounds like an easy situation:

" imagine owing  restaurant that is only open from 11am till 2pm, Monday-friday..."

BUT, I asked my friend, Dwaine, about that "banker's hours" thing and got the full story...They get in there every day about 8:30 or earlier to spend the next two hours just getting all the stuff ready for the lunch crowd from 11 to 2....After closing, they spend the next hour and a half or more cleaning everything spotlessly, reordering anything they're running low on, and getting ready for the next day's onslaught.  IF he's lucky, he gets out of there by 4:00 for a 30-minute drive home....long day, still despite the short "open" hours.....

I recall something my dad told the five of us one day when I was about 17 years old.

It went "I really don't have any idea how the five of you will fare in this world because of your mixed up lineage.  On your mother's side there is 100% German but on my side, it is a mixture of Irish, Norwegian and even some English.   So on any given day, you will be conflicted and not know whether to start a world war, provoke a bar fight or go fishing."

To this day I still chuckle at such wisdom.
