4100...yes, I understand that, oilboiler, in fact the futures market for the product is labelled as such "Henry Hub Natural Gas" as shows below:

https://www.cmegroup.com/markets/energy/natural-gas/natural-gas.quotes.html

...BUT, my inquiry is relating to the increased use one would certainly expect during a period of prolongued cold weather -- that is, wouldn't extreme weather conditions cause an increase in prices on the H.H.Nat-Gas futures markets?

i have 2 -10500BTU kerosene heaters in garage... damn fine heaters except they are WAY too stinky using grade A Kerosine.  Have parrafin that's not been tried yet.  These new diesel heaters vaporize then ignite the diesel allowing perfect burn with zero smell.

Like the stock market, I think that options now control the pricing of everything in the short term these days. Nobody trading these markets can actually take delivery.

Thanks.  It's just a small stake, but I am being stubborn.  Of the 10 heirs to the property, 8 have sold out because the oil cos make that easy and make it nearly impossible to transfer royalty interests.  They get an effective 15% to 50% annualized return from the prices they offer depending upon how much is being pumped.

Bond market - tanking big time. Not what we want. We also have tax-loss selling in PM shares this week - less next week.

Don't want to see $1775 again - if we do, we are going lower ST

Remember the big hype of the turkey “shortage “…?

Was chatting with the man restocking the meat department at Wally Whirld….
Told me our local WW sent back to the vendor TWO semi loads of birds. 🦃

So much for that “ shortage “ story…🤣

Goes to prove the peeps will believe any story you tell them..lotsa of that even going on here 🙃

4110...yo, Zigg.....seems to be a shortage of sorts for Turkeys around here....none of the three major grocery stores nearby are offering any "deals" on the birds going into Christmas, with the cheapest pricing I could see at $2.29/lb!  Sheesh.....they were like $.69/lb. a few weeks back or even free with the purchase of $100. worth of groceries....Kind of irritating how they play us "cussimers"....

The National Terrifying Service appears to be freaked out about this next weather system too.  They have issued winter storm warnings for the Twin Cites that includes blizzard conditions on the tail end of the storm with near zero visibility and life threatening travel conditions late in the week.

So glad I don't work those miserable shifts any longer.

Got better things to do now.  Just got the full set of Columbo series at the half price bookstore for $46 total.

thanks Cherokeeee. This storm looks more serious for me than last weeks turned out to be. I hate rain before snow. Last week we had very wet snow which was hard on the snow blower. Snow came out like a slushy. Hopefully it will be dryer this time. Not going anywhere for Xmas so lets rock.  Got a great single malt selection open for the visitors who can make it locally. Given they all drive little cars, I expect I will have to move them around in my 4 x 4. I laugh when I see the little front wheel drive cars with no clearance get their wheels lifted off the ground from the snow depth.

Cherokeee. Thanks and keep up the new posts on the storm. I am following the weather on windguru ( I am a sailor in sailing country) and most models look ugly for Friday afternoon. Ryan is not committing to snow totals at this point however windguru is and it is a lot.  +/- 2 ft in my neck of the woods. If that lays down over the ice formed by the heat and rain on Thursday it will be a fun Christmas.  I think Paul Simon has a song for that ....Slip Slidin away....

special weather statement in effect  from Canadian Government for Odessa to the Frontenac Islands.

Significant winter storm expected late this week into the holiday weekend.

Precipitation may begin as rain or snow late Thursday before possibly transitioning to rain in many areas early Friday. Temperatures are expected to plummet on Friday leading to a potential flash freeze for locations that receive rainfall. Rapidly falling temperatures will be accompanied by strong to potentially damaging winds along with snow that may be heavy at times. Blizzard conditions are possible late Friday into the weekend for areas downwind of Lake Huron and Georgian Bay.

A multi-day lake effect snow event is expected into the weekend in the wake of the system for locations east of the Great Lakes.

While there is high confidence in a high impact winter storm, the details regarding wind speeds, precipitation types and amounts remain highly uncertain at this time. Please monitor your local forecast and the latest alerts for your area.

Consider altering plans through the holiday weekend as travel conditions may become dangerous. Extensive utility outages are possible. Temperatures Friday night into the weekend will likely be the coldest of the season to date.

Public Safety Canada encourages everyone to make an emergency plan and get an emergency kit with drinking water, food, medicine, a first-aid kit and a flashlight. For information on emergency plans and kits go to......

Listening to Tom Obrien today he said he sold all his newsletter Gold stocks yesterday except  vista gold  (of course that vista is his bigge$ advertiser). He said it's price and  volume and he still doesn't like it today.  Not enough vol on that aem for tom.  Gold charts and his volume comments plus he thinks usd going downski.

"A blinking and pivoting Fed is not needed to produce a parabolic move in gold, silver, and the miners. What’s needed is oil shooting above $130, USD:RUB skyrocketing, gold roaring above $2200, and the Fed going into panic mode.

The table is being set now, for that to happen. When the Fed panics, money managers will panic. They will sell the stock market much more aggressively than they sold it this year, and then rush into the miners, creating a price parabola that makes the 1970s look like a tiny blip on a huge gold bull era radar screen."

Climate is the Neo-Marxist hammer to destroy individualism and independence. Make the cost of everything go up and crush the global middle class - but especially America's Middle Class. Push oil higher, then push food higher so all they can spend is to exist - no freedom of travel or to do other things. Total Surfs!!!

Now they are coming for food!!!

Forget Oil. Now They Are Coming For The Cows

Environmentalists have no shame or sense and farmers around the world are, forget the pitchforks, “setting hay bales ablaze and dumping manure on motorways"..

US Government in Full Scale Implosion Because of Corruption – Catherine Austin Fitts
By Greg Hunter On December 20, 2022

https://usawatchdog.com/us-government-in-full-scale-implosion-because-of-corruption-catherine-austin-fitts/

This is VERY refreshing as it features Catherine Austin Fitts AT HER FINEST.

No BS from Fitts.  You may be angry by some of the things she says and you may very well vociferously disagree with what she says about Trump.  From my standpoint, she simply lays down reality based truth.

A cause to celebrate? Nope.

NW…” 9-degrees (yes, that's NINE!)

Rather than looking at your curse of freezing your butt off, this cold snap could be the biggest blessing for your community.
This cold snap for those living under their blue tarp might give them the urge to head south to Sacky mento..

SF Fed 'Proxy Rate' Signals Most-Inverted Yield Curve Since 1981

Perhaps the market senses that this elevated proxy rate is enough to cool the US economy significantly in the quarters to come, helping explain why 2-year US Treasury yields appear to be rolling over.

lonestar…. Busted water pipes….
Don’t know if your house was built on slab ,stem wall with crawl space or built over basement….on slab…sometimes the water pipes come up in an exterior wall..if your vanities and kitchen sink are on the exterior walls, best you can do is to leave the doors open on those cabinets.
If your house is built with stem wall and crawl space, cover all the vents that were placed in the rim joists. No need to loose any of the earths heat. 😉
And to most common pipe buster is the exterior hose bibs/ sillcocks..HD sells a neat little styrofoam thingy that just slips over the ext faucet..wrap with old towel etc for added protection
And the dripping faucet on the exterior wall plumbing fixtures is a good idea..🙂

So in October the BEP cranked out 144 thousand $100 notes…so where does all this fresh cash go….

“ Fox reported last week:

A large package containing around $40 million in cash for "humanitarian aid" was seen on an airport tarmac in Afghanistan, officials there said last week.

The money was handed over to the Da Bank of Afghanistan, the Taliban-controlled central bank of Afghanistan, which is headquartered in Kabul. The bank tweeted several images of the cash. One shows packages of U.S. $100 notes bound in plastic, boxed and bagged in an airport.

https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/taliban-bans-all-education-afghan-girls-ironically-huge-pallets-cash-humanitarian-aid

Would be nice to “ follow the money “…..down which rabbit hole 🧐
No doubt some of those serial numbers on each note will show up at foreign banks…😂
