Biden says for oil companies to pass profits to consumers rather than shareholders.

Isn’t there a word for that?

Biden is a red.  Didn't know that until it revealed itself over the last 2 years, but now it's more than obvious.

I remember an ROTC instructor who started his class like this

Gentlemen, what do you do when you find a communist?

Sir, you kill it sir!!

Very good.

That was 1967

1805....anyone stupid enough to pay $9.00/oz over spot for Eagles -- or ANY comparable products -- needs to be "Bidenized" and watched over closely by a care giver 'cause they're already half nuts.....Do these buyers actually think they'll EVER recapture that $9. premium when they buy this stuff?  sheesh....the generic 1-oz. rounds are bad enuff at + $4.00 or more over, but the Iggles are absurd....

1808...seriously?  Why don't manufacturers sell cars at the cost of the materials that are used?  Same as for silver products.....there's a LOT of manufacturing costs before that silver product is finished and ready for resale....it's not simply the cost of the metal itself -- it's "spot" price -- but includes the actual costs of making it and additional costs (nowadays, with higher fuel prices) of shipping it to a dealer or wholesaler.....there's no free lunch....and no soup for you, cow pies!

1810....that still leaves a 'spread' of -$5.00 wolavka.......

"....easy selling to the coin shops @ 4 over spot....."

So, IF the price goes up at least $5.00 from the time of purchase, you can haul that monster box of SAEs into a coin shop and sell it for a 'break even' IF they'll still pay you $4.00 over spot, eh?  helluva deal!  I'd rather have a better 'spread' than that by buying widely traded "generic" silver products with a smaller spread....

Norwester, I thought you had some expertise in metals.

Spreads do not matter at all!
Silver (in all its forms) is intended as trade for BREAD !!!

Do you not know that loaves of bread will be the MOST VITAL commodity when TSHTF ????

1817....bread?  well, you're prolly right, Pyrite....I laid in all this damn flour and some packets of yeast figuring it would be UNobtainable by now, but the bread aisle shelves still seem to be loaded with loaves....and, besides, Zigg the bread eggspurt has disappeared so I can't count on him for help if I had to try my hand at bread making....

My silver customers always told me they could get a loaf of bread for an ounce of silver.

But they were at a loss to explain how they would get baloney.

I educated them that silver IS baloney.

NW - yea, I think a D-bottom is in the bag - but if go through that, there's potentially another $40-50 before we find serious support. We'll bounce off the meaningless $1600 - but it should be sold

The strangest things happened to a kitchen wall clock that we have used for years.  It is battery operated so every time we "spring forward" or "fall back" with the seasonal clock times, I have climbed up on the kitchen counter and pulled the clock down and swapped out the two AA batteries for another 6 months of operation.

This year about 3 weeks ago, the wall clock fell back exactly one hour all by itself.  At first we didn't notice that exact one hour change and figured either the clock was screwed up or that the batteries had crapped out early.

Three weeks later, the silly clock has maintained a time of exactly one hour earlier from the current time and when the change comes in early November it will be totally correct.

How the devil can something like this happen?

 ???

"they could get a loaf of bread for an ounce of silver."
Pyrite, a friend of my mothers told me how the germans would only allow them 1.5 eggs per person. If you got caught you were shot. She was a Czechoslovakian. Her dad would really get scared when she asked where all the people on the trains were going. A german might hear her. She told me how they were so hungry but they had wheat!!! She hand ground wheat for a long time and got sick. You should have seen her face when she said but we had BREAD!!!!!! Almost 80 years later. The look on her face after that many years could not hide her---don't know how to explain it---but bread had such a HUGE significance after that many years that her face was
on fire from the memory. God help us as history repeats or at least rhymes

1828...Cherokeee.....lenticular clouds are common as mud over Mr. Rainier, Baker, and, yes, St.Helens....they're regularly spotted, some even appearing a bit like a mushroom cloud, which always grabs attention.....Lately, anyone who could see or detect such an occurance must have x-ray vision to see thru the heavy layers of smoke from eastern Washington forest fires....the bad-air quality meter was reading 280+ in the Seattle area today, only 175 up here but still ugly and dangerous for us folks with bad lungs anyway.....Typically, our air quality is measuring around 20-40 most days, but it's not in the ballpark lately.....

Hey, by the way, that dude talking about imminent danger was reiterating the same thing in lesser detail that Gonzalo posted earlier today....sheesh....he even used some exact phrases!  Why, the "free news sources" are starting to steal each other's stories, it seems....almost like all the national fake newsies have done for yeas....

1831....RACK....Gainesville is a quality outfit with which one can deal....They do offer daily (or several times a week, at least) "specials" that almost put the product at the same price other dealers have paid to wholesalers, so they CAN be a safe and reasonable place with which to deal....Those $22. Buffalo silver rounds -vs- the current spot price ($18.30+/-) are a steal of a deal at +$3.70 over Spot....Most wholesalers are quoting that or higher right now.....So, yes, Virginia, sometimes there is, indeed, a Santa Claus or Tooth Fairy if one checks around.....

Norwester, glad to hear my friend found cheap sludge from an honest real good deals.
I didn't warn him about sludges ability to wreck backs and fortunes.
I'm sure glad you told me to stop the sludge and buy the real shiny stuff. Like Pyrite says you can just fill two pockets and your covered for spending money.
Cash is where I'm sitting for probably ever with what I have left. Amazing how fast that pile drops.

Lots of Fed speeches today.

Read any clues you can find in what they say.

The market seems to believe November will be it.

Bought some Rupert.  I do think proven reserves in the ground is safer than producers right now, though I have both.

The Feckless GOP

The comments are equally-crazy.

As I've pointed out Social Security is, while underfunded, only modestly so (by about 18%.) That is, lifting the cap (in part) and increasing the rate (by about 1%) would balance income with outflow.  It's a solvable problem.

Medicare and Medicaid combined, on the other hand, are 80% unfunded.  That is, to close that gap you'd have to increase the tax rate on Medicare (which is already not-capped) by five times.

That won't happen.

Never mind that the Medicaid portion on the federal side is only part of it -- the rest falls on the States, all of it unfunded as there is no Medicaid tax.

As I've repeatedly pointed out that's where the entire problem is going all the way back to before the "Great Financial Crisis" and, in fact, all the way back to the 1990s!  I don't have the MTS for the end of Fiscal 2022 year (September's report is not yet out, but it will be within days) but if you look at August's report (11 of the 12 months) you see the problem: $1.834 trillion spent by CMS with one month left, or roughly 34% of the total government spend.

How much was taken in by the commensurate tax?  $307 billion, or 16.7% of that which was spent.

This is worse than it was a couple of years ago when it was about 20%.

In other words the deficit in these programs alone is $1.527 trillion or more than the entire budget deficit -- by about 150%!

The entire problem is there.

Not some of it, all of it.

**************************************************************

The above reveal on structural deficits in both Medicare and Medicaid was the SOLE reason that Mr. and Mrs. PB1 did NOT take any of the COVID injections.

While I had no idea how dire the situation really was, my cynical mind immediately connected the dots that the political class had decided to cull (trim) the number of baby boomers in the US in order to cut down on both Medicare and Medicaid outlays.

THIS is the path that politicians invariably take as well as bureaucrats in the Federal Government.  I witnessed it for 36 year so why would any of this been a surprise?

It wasn't.

All the injections and boosters are intended to dramatically shorten your life so they won't have to spend money on you as they consider you a nonproductive useless eater.

In the spirit of Halloween I submit the following...

How long till climate change gets blamed on witches casting spells on the weather? How long till it gets suggested that a few witches be burned at the stake as an example to other witches to stop messing with the weather? Just asking.😆

That is certainly in the spirit of the libtard's logic these days.  We now have a cult operating in America that claims to have attained higher education but to date shows little evidence of having obtained such education.

We do not suffer from systemic racism or systemic white supremacy so much as systemic stupidity.

It is NOT your imagination

43 anti white commercials

This was in the Congressional Record in 1957.

ISRAEL COHEN (1912)
“We must realize that our party’s most powerful weapon is racial tensions. By propounding into the consciousness of the dark races that for centuries they have been oppressed by whites, we can mold them to the program of the Communist Party. In America we will aim for subtle victory. While inflaming the Negro minority against the whites, we will endeavor to instill in the whites a guilt complex for their exploitation of the Negros. We will aid the Negroes to rise in prominence in every walk of life, in the professions and in the world of sports and entertainment. With this prestige, the Negro will be able to intermarry with the whites and begin a process which will deliver America to our cause.”

Israel Cohen, A Racial Program for the Twentieth Century, 1912. Also in the Congressional Record, Vol. 103, p. 8559, June 7, 1957.

If you examine the authenticity of the above quote your censored internet with throw a flood of denials and this has been accomplished by the usual suspects.

OXYGEN REMOVERS CAN BE BOUGHT SEPARATELY OR WITH MYLAR BAGS
https://www.google.com/search?q=mylar+food+bags+5+gallon&rlz=1C1CHBF_enUS854US854&oq=Myla&aqs=chrome.0.69i59j69i57j0i131i433i512l2j69i61j69i65j69i61l2.15350j0j4&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

the 30 5 gal with 2500 de-oxygen bags for 39.99(Amazon) probably best deal they are twice as thick as most so will keep food even longer

remember to re-seal the oxygen remover bag after opening it to take some out
If done right Frustrated said at least 20 years...But 10 works for me also

these are ziploc..but I would reco a hair straightener (most good wills have them)and heat seal above the ziploc(try to get as much air out of bag before ziplocing  bag then heat seal

Some fat lawyer is on the Fox news channel pimping Camp Lejeune legal settlements regarding bad water every 7 to 10 minutes.  It has been going on for weeks on end.  Does anyone know what is motivating such huge monetary outlays for an advertising blitz of this persistence and intensity?

1870....ambulance chasers right there on the tube....IF it's a definitely proven fact that the "bad water" situtation resulted in illiness or cancers or heart problems, etc. years later, they've got the gummint by the balls with a major class action lawsuit. . They'll be contacting any and all former Marines who may in some way have been affected by this, giving them even greater "firepower" to go after the big bucks from the gummint....be assured they'll do much better financially out of this deal than those they are supposedly representing......It's for the money, and nothing more....they know they've got a solid case, so the cost of advertising for "clients" is chicken feed.....more 'provable' affected soldiers, more $$$ for them....

Regarding Camp Lejeune: The period covered is almost fifty years. The prospective client base is huge because families lived on the base. Workers drank the water, and thousands of Marines passed through. The lawyers are getting 30-40% of any award. And, the big one, the US gummint is the defendant. The Act specifically gives permission to sue the gummint. Extreme due diligence is required, as each barracks had a different well; different wells had different toxins, and different toxins produce different medical conditions. The research is arduous and lengthy and the law firm takes a risk. The payout is multiples of six figures, and the VA has denied most cases for years leaving plaintiffs with nothing. Only recently the VA has paid, and the most you can get from the VA (still is) is $40,000 a year, and you are a wreck if you get that much. With this Camp Lejeune Act you can get ten times what the VA pays. The VA has nothing to do with the settlement, it goes through a court, mostly as class action suits. If you were there, and you have or had cancer you are a possible client.

RE:  Camp Lejeune Act

Thanks for your explanation.

I have to wonder what political motivation triggered such a monumental change with respect to suing the Federal government.  No wonder the ambulance chasers are licking their chops with lawyers getting 30% to 40% of the settlement.

The cynic in me wonders if the real purpose behind this is to bankrupt Uncle Sam and facilitate the Great Reset.

Hell, Denninger of Market Ticker has already described the Federal government's intractable position with respect to Medicare and Medicaid;

No one wants gold. No one wants treasuries. No one wants equities. All they want is dollars. Which seems crazy unless they don't really want dollars they just need them to service debt. With rising interest rates it is harder to get dollars, a dollar shortage if you will. So what do you do? You liquidate gold, treasuries and equities for dollars so you can service your dollar denominated debt. This is deflation. When do the debt defaults begin? Or have they already started? When will interest rates start to fall so the system can be saved?

The Newsmax cable news outlet has severed ties with Lara Logan after the former “60 Minutes” correspondent went on a bizarre rant alleging that world leaders “dine on the blood of children.”

Logan, an award-winning former war correspondent, was interviewed Wednesday by Newsmax host Eric Bolling, who anchors a show called “The Balance.”

Bolling invited Logan to his program to discuss global elites and their favoritism toward leftist policies. He then asked Logan about the situation along the southern border, where undocumented migrants have crossed into the United States in droves.

 Camp Lepennys

In the end most of the lawsuit  victims end up with very little and will probably die waiting for a couple $$$_

I filed a claim on this Blue cross settlement that's been going on over a decade and in the end read several stories most of the claims will get about $10 while the law firm gets the mother lode.  Plus these Appeals can take years before funds are released

(Reuters) - Boies Schiller Flexner, Hausfeld and other law firms may have to wait a while longer to collect a $667 million fee award for their work leading to a $2.67 billion antitrust settlement with Blue Cross Blue Shield.

A handful of class members and companies on Friday filed appeals challenging an Alabama federal judge's August approval of the settlement and fees. Until those appeals are resolved, neither class members nor their attorneys will see any money flow from the settlement, a Boies Schiller spokesperson acknowledged Tuesday.
