Third time in the last few days the POG has been up nicely overnight. Last two times POG was hammered down whack-a-mole style immediately before of after the NY open creating upside whiskers on the chart.

https://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=%24GOLD&p=D&b=5&g=0&id=p07519082052

Will the third time be a charm or does it get whacked again today?

Cramer's comments clearly coordinated - they are ratcheting up the tyranny

Merkel, EU Chief Call For Vaccine Mandates As South Africa Sees Cases Double In A Day

WEDNESDAY, DEC 01, 2021 - 12:50 PM
As European countries from Germany, to Austria to the Netherlands tighten lockdown measures amid a surge in COVID cases (while deaths remain slightly elevated but more subdued), the continent's unelected bureaucrat in chief, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, asked during a speech on Wednesday that EU members consider adopting a vaccine mandate. All members should "think about" imposing mandates of their own in a coordinated fashion that's in keeping with the Continent's new approach

The USA should put all of those bombers at Ramstein to good use. They could use them to do a leaflet bombing on the populace of the working protocols with little tubes of horse paste. Do it at night so that the citizens don't get their eyes put out from watching the remedies fall from the overcast (that starves their solar panels). Of course the denizens would be less likely to get hustled off to the camps if under cover of darkness.

I have all of this useless platinum sitting around. I am going to make platinum colloids. Gold colloids are rather prettily colored. If a Gold credit card is OK and the Platinum cards are so far superior then I deduce that Pt colloid will cure just about anything that can be manufactured at Ft. Detrick and in Fauci's labs.

The next good news for the market?  Lowered inflation.

You can see it in the drop of critical commodities.

AND (IMO) this total supply chain mess, with tons of cargo sitting at anchor is totally contrived.

These ******** are going to mandate vaccination come Hell or high water.   No vaccination?  No welfare, no social security, no Medicare, etc.  No government help (entitled to or not) including pensions if not vaccinated.  It is the opening door to dictatorship.

Lots of PM stocks flirting with new low levels.

That is NOT good.

The stock market can’t seem to hold gains either.  Not quite sure yet what that’s signaling.

But if it goes, initially we all go with it.

FSM - bit of humor, the sell-off on the Mexico shake-down re its Silver production, the subsequent sell-off discounted its Silver production to zero basically. Now today, after zeroing its silver production out, it gets sold down over the weakness in silver - can't make this up.

Have a laugh on permabear1

A few weeks ago I rented a small storage locker with Public Storage.   Today was the first day of storage axis so my wife and I went over and successfully entered the access code (can't reach the silly thing with an open car window) located the unit and monkeyed around trying to figure out how the lock worked which took up another 20 minutes.

We exited the lane that gave us access to the unit and attempted to get out of the place.  There we no clear instructions.  I attempted to call them but telephone was never answered.  After another 40 minutes wondering how to get out I simply gave up and called 911.

The police could figure out where we were and said they were responding.

Out of the blue, my wife say a guy visiting his motor home in the back of the parking lot and we quickly drove over, horn hooking to get his attention on how to get out of the fricking place.

We say in our initial drive back there a gate but there was no obvious place to enter our access code.  The fellow we met near his truck said you have to get out of you care and push a lower button and they the gate will open.

The gate was still open and he said if you drive now you can still get out without having to get out of your car.

We had just cleared the gate and noticed the police cruiser 3 blocks away.  I quickly called 911 and explained that we had managed to get out and they cancelled our call.  We lowered our heads in embarrassment as the police vehicle drove right on by.

I told Ruth that if they had stopped we'd have been arrested and it would go like this.

"You two are under arrest!"

"What is the charge officer?"

"Stupidity".
Just because you are paranoid does not prove that they are not out to get you

PB 1 ...#1821...heh-heh-heh....I chuckle 'cause I had a similar situation occur to me a few years back when I was parking a boat in one of those storage lots...Had no problem entering the code and getting into the space, but, like you, when I came back to the exit gate, the code wouldn't work....I called the main office there, maybe a 100' on the other side of the gate, but, apparently, the guy who should have been there was out in the side lot....so, I sat....and sat...and was ALMOST ready to call the cops when some other storage guy pulled up, punched in his code, the gate opened and, in a flash, I shot thru.....Next time I was down there, sure enough, my code seemed to work entering and leaving...

Pyrite Took the Gold Cup out today.
One hand or two? Pretty sure I couldn't do that with one hand. Two hands I could beat that if the
temps were above 50 degrees. Cold is a curse in ND

My son who is a huge football fan assures me that most NFL players have faked their vaccine. They have access to team doctors and other such folk who don't inject them but do give them the vaccine card and properly record it into whatever system they use.

Just stumbled upon this when looking up sudden deaths...a direct question to the European Parliament

Subject: Post-COVID vaccine deaths

Three young people recently lost their lives after receiving their second dose of the COVID vaccine(1). These cases are the latest to be added to the growing list of sudden deaths to occur during the vaccine rollout.

The recent autopsy report for Camilla Canepa(2), who also died following vaccination, stated that the cause of death could be ‘reasonably attributed to an adverse effect from administration of the COVID vaccine’.

A German study(3) examining the autopsies of people who died shortly after vaccination suggests that 50% of these deaths were caused by the vaccine, which is also believed to be behind an unprecedented accumulation of lymphocytes found in the hearts, kidneys, livers and spleens of the deceased.

In the light of the above:

1. Does the Commission intend to reanalyse the costs and benefits of vaccinating young people, given the absolute risk of serious – or even fatal – adverse effects?

2. Will it withdraw the emergency use authorisation for the vaccines – at least for the under-50s, for whom the serious risks associated with vaccination appear to outweigh the limited benefits?

Trump was on Fox this morning (telco interview) and he stated that he did not know if Biden was even involved with what is going on right now.  He said that he had to give Biden the benefit of the doubt because of his decline, but he was sure now that the intention of the people behind the scenes within this administration are purposely attempting to collapse the US as fast as they are able to.

Ditto that opinion for me.

From link on dosing Iver alone got quickest results out of the 3 treatments

Ivermectin, a US Food and Drug Administration-approved anti-parasitic agent, was found to inhibit severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) replication in vitro. A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial was conducted to determine the rapidity of viral clearance and safety of ivermectin among adult SARS-CoV-2 patients. The trial included 72 hospitalized patients in Dhaka, Bangladesh, who were assigned to one of three groups: oral ivermectin alone (12 mg once daily for 5 days), oral ivermectin in combination with doxycycline (12 mg ivermectin single dose and 200 mg doxycycline on day 1, followed by 100 mg every 12 h for the next 4 days), and a placebo control group. Clinical symptoms of fever, cough, and sore throat were comparable among the three groups. Virological clearance was earlier in the 5-day ivermectin treatment arm when compared to the placebo group (9.7 days vs 12.7 days; p = 0.02), but this was not the case for the ivermectin + doxycycline arm (11.5 days; p = 0.27). There were no severe adverse drug events recorded in the study. A 5-day course of ivermectin was found to be safe and effective in treating adult patients with mild COVID-19. Larger trials will be needed to confirm these preliminary findings.

It's interesting how the PM stocks moved down with the general market earlier this week even though POG was up a few dollars, but now that the market is up nicely, PM stocks have decided to go back to following the POG.

I have used IB for over 10 years. Their portals and trading platforms are powerful but complex. Worth spending some time learning to navigate and you can trade virtually any market in any currency without unreasonable charges. Send me a message if you want a referral link which has some freebees (for both of us) attached.

The gold share indexes this year remind me a little of the 1987 stock market crash. The XAU double bottomed in Mar/Apr, then topped in June. Then a 31% decline into October followed by what may be a double bottom forming here in Dec. In 1987, the Dow-SPX double bottomed in Apr/May, then topped in Aug. Then a 35% decline into October followed by a double bottom in Dec. 1987 was a steeper move down but the percentage drop fairly similar. Of course the good news is the 1987 Dow bottomed near 1750 right where the POG is today. The Dow 34 years later in 2021 just hit near 37K. Will the POG trade near 37K in 2055? :)

G

I'll have to live to 100 to find out.

"Racist" is a toolword. You must know that.
Any objective examination of the effect of "them" has to lead you to the behavior and ideology that is now termed, "racist."

Is tomorrow the deadline for a decision on the debt ceiling...or not???

(more can kicking?)

snippets:
(this sentence doesn't even make sense...is Dec 3 the deadline date?)
Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen estimates that the government will run out of money on Dec. 15, an extension from the previous deadline of Dec. 3.

"There are scenarios in which Treasury would be left with insufficient remaining resources to continue to finance the operations of the U.S. Government beyond this date," Yellen said of the new deadline in a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Nov. 16.

While the pushed deadline gives lawmakers some additional time to address the debt ceiling, it remains unclear how Democrats will proceed after Republican leaders, including Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, have repeatedly stated they will not help with legislation to raise the limit.

Congress could be barreling toward another government shutdown at midnight on Friday if Republicans and Democrats don't pass a bill to fund the government by then.

Fauci as Darth Vader of the Covid Wars

By Pepe Escobar

Focusing on Dr Anthony Fauci as the fulcrum of the biggest story of the 21st century allows RFK Jr to paint a complex canvas of planned militarization and, especially, monetization of medicine, a toxic process managed by Big Pharma, Big Tech and the military/intel complex – and dutifully promoted by mainstream media.

By now everyone knows that the big winners have been Big Finance, Big Pharma, Big Tech and Big Data, with a special niche for Silicon Valley behemoths.

Why Fauci? RFK Jr. argues that for five decades, he has been essentially a Big Pharma agent, nurturing “a complex web of financial entanglements among pharmaceutical companies and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and its employees that has transformed NIAID into a seamless subsidiary of the pharmaceutical industry. Fauci unabashedly promotes his sweetheart relationship with Pharma as a ‘public-private partnership.’”

Arguably the full contours of this very convoluted story have never before been examined along these lines, extensively documented and with a wealth of links. Fauci may not be a household name outside of the US and especially across the Global South. And yet it’s this global audience that should be particularly interested in his story.

RFK Jr accuses Fauci of having pursued nefarious strategies since the onset of Covid-19 – from falsifying science to suppressing and sabotaging competitive products that bring lower profit margins.

Kennedy’s verdict is stark: “Tony Fauci does not do public health; he is a businessman, who has used his office to enrich his pharmaceutical partners and expand the reach of influence that has made him the most powerful – and despotic – doctor in human history.”

This is a very serious accusation. It’s up to readers to examine the facts of the case and decide whether Fauci is some kind of medical Dr Strangelove.

Ummm..speaking of the latest "variant", I was actually a bit shocked to see on my local TV News an admission (as a last entry in a list of "facts") that the Omicron variant is "less intense" as contrasted with the full-blown Covid AND "seems to resolve itself in just a few days"!!!!!  damn, that shoots holes in the latest 'curative' to treat it, doesn't it....That's an ABC affiliate, and certainly the last 'news station' I would have expected to release such info..But WAIT....

I see, too, that Step-'n-topplus is interviewing an "innocent" Alex Baldwin who is claiming he never even pulled that trigger (although he'll play hell claiming he never pointed it at those people!), and has already secured a 'key' witness who swears he was always careful to keep his finger outside the trigger guard and parallel to the barrel above....Now, ya gotta wonder how 'convenient' was that ?!  Reminds me of the Kavanaugh "grilling" and that 'key' witness who was found to be lying thru her teeth after the median had roasted the guy insufferably....
