NW....Bob Auger's shop was literall a hole in the wall on Wilson Way.
He died before the 80s.
Amazing shop!   He knew crowns better than anyone.
"Racist" is a toolword. You must know that.
Any objective examination of the effect of "them" has to lead you to the behavior and ideology that is now termed, "racist."

Refute if you can.

There are only two reasons we are suppose to hate the Russians now.   There was a time that the USSR was hated and there were some solid reasons for that.

Reasons not necessarily in order or even independent of one another

(1)  The British Empire and Russia struggled with each other during the 18th century and are still in that struggle.

https://www.amazon.com/Great-Game-Struggle-Central-Kodansha/dp/1568360223

THE GREATGAME: THE EPIC STORY BEHIND TODAY’S HEADLINES

Peter Hopkirk’s spellbinding account of the great imperial struggle for supremacy in Central Asoa has been hailed as essential reading with that era’s legacy playing itself out today.

The Great Game between Victorian Britain and Tsarist Russia was fought across desolate terrain from the Caucasus to China, over the lonely passes of the Parmirs and Karakorams, in the blazing Kerman and Helmund deserts, and through the caravan towns of the old Silk Road—both powers scrambling to control access to the riches of India and the East. When play first began, the frontiers of Russia and British India lay 2000 miles apart; by the end, this distance had shrunk to twenty miles at some points. Now, in the vacuum left by the disintegration of the Soviet Union, there is once again talk of Russian soldiers "dipping their toes in the Indian Ocean."

The Washington Post has said that "every story Peter Hopkirk touches is totally engrossing." In this gripping narrative he recounts a breathtaking tale of espionage and treachery through the actual experiences of its colorful characters. Based on meticulous scholarship and on-the-spot research, this is the history at the core of today’s geopolitics.

(2)   A struggle between Khazarian Empire (600 AD converts to Judaism) and Russia resulted in a forced migration into the Pale of Settlement and the descendants of Khazaria are still carrying on a very old feud with Russians.  A musical:  The Fiddler on the Roof is certainly part of this old struggle.

https://www.jesusisprecious.org/history/khazarian_jews.htm

Mr. and Mrs. PB1 want no part of this struggle and want the US kept out of this continuing feud but our Zionist controlled leaders apparently want more war.

Over the past week, shocked Europeans - mostly in the UK and Ireland - have been posting viral photos of shockingly high energy bills amid the ongoing (and worsening) energy crisis.

Several of the posts were from small business owners who getting absolutely crushed right now, and won't be able to remain operational much longer.

One such owner is Geraldine Dolan, who owns the Poppyfields cafe in Athlone, Ireland - and was charged nearly €10,000 (US$10,021) for just over two months of energy usage.

It appears to me that this site is slowly becoming more and more like previous PM sites I participated in.  Eventually, most of those sites turned from discussions of precious metals to mostly discussions about race/ethnicity.  After a while, many of those sites became downright nasty and as a result, were ultimately terminated.    Food for thought.

Jesse, when actual history becomes 'offensive' or 'triggering' to some, it is not a large leap to arrive at a state where the past is cancelled and that society basically is left with no compass from which to navigate.

For what it's worth (probably not much), Mr. and Mrs. PB1 find it offensive that the Russian people and their leader Putin are incessantly demonized in our media as well as in entertainment.  However, I found it just as offensive that Arabs where depicted as crawling snakes by Hollywood cartoons back when I was a kid as well as terrorists by the media during our wars of aggression into the Middle East.

Letting light into dark places has never harmed anyone.

I suspect we agree on far more issues than either of us can imagine.  It is almost always about confusion of intent when it comes to communications.

My operative principal is the Golden Rule.  Do not do things or say things that hurt others.  Doing so is evil.

"Do not do things or say things that hurt others."

If everyone believed and practiced the above, we would all be much better off.

I was about to tag along on N'w s Micro silver 1000 oz bar contract last week. Now it is $1000 cheaper. I wonder if Pyrite would do some pre-recorded rap taunts upon the sellers to the tune of "Limbo Rock" that it would humiliate them enough to sell at eighteen cents lower than spot.

I really do not want sh!t silver in my hovel that causes excruciating pain and easy bleeding on my fungal toes.
For half of the price I can buy  2011 Lincoln Town Car deluxe someway or other that will easily outlive me and mercifully has no screen. Head slap, "Wow, I Could have a V8". A cop car in drag!

17232...out here, the cop cars were Mercury Grande Marquises and Ford Crown Victorias .....and they made 'em to last, too...I had a Crown Vic for nearly 10 years and sold it to my manager's son when I ran across a nice, Little Old Lady owned Grand Marquise that had less than 2 years use on it....drove that sucker 'til it had 240K miles on it and traded it for 1/6th value of what I'd paid for it 12 years earlier for an F-150 I was buying...I doubt I had $1500. into that Mercury including tires and sundry oil changes, brakes and tune ups...it was one of the best land yachts I ever owned...
