Wet, misty-cool day up here in the NW corner of the lower 48, so a good day to stay indoors....We opted to go to a movie, quite a change from Netflix or Hulu watching....For those who followed his career years ago, ELVIS, the film was well worth watching. The young man who portrayed the King, Austin Butler, did a superb job in the role -- not so much as an exact look-alike, but a very credible performance as he gyrated in Elvis fashion on the stage. . .Tom Hanks, that lefty Hollyweird celeb, played the role of Elvis's "manager/promoter", and was as slimy as possible in steering a lot of benefits and income in his own direction rather than to Elvis...anyway, it's a l-o-n-g 2 1/2 hour fast-moving production, but one I'd certainly recommend as worth seeing....
