Connect the dots people!  I know you can do it, you just have to make the effort rather than simply accept things on their surface appearance.

For the desire of money is the root of all evils; which some coveting have erred from the faith, and have entangled themselves in many sorrows.

The U.S. and New Zealand are the only two countries that allow drug companies to advertise prescription drugs directly to consumers.  How many ads have you seen promoting the use of antidepressants ...like just about every day.

my #12459 link showed the progression of antidepressants from the 1950's.

From the 'Invisible crash' that Jim Dines wrote about back in the 1960s, to Gordon Brown's hapless selling of British gold between 1999 and 2002  to where we find ourselves today, the future of the yellow metal has NEVER been brighter.

Equities?

Not on your life.

Tomorrow will be a thin market - could get a raid - fingers crossed we don't. But the chart for next week is pretty ugly

I will be "Net Short" at some point tomorrow going into the weekend - we wake up to a sell-off on Tuesday through Thursday into the UER

$1835 is a done deal tomorrow or early next week & then a bounce & then lower before Thursday

The great food shortage…🧐

“ In the United States, 5.6 million bushels of corn were used for ethanol production out of 14.6 million bushels produced, according to preliminary 2018 USDA data.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corn_ethanol

…….
So we are taking a third of out corn (food) and sticking it in 4 WD trucks fuel tank…

Side note..
Brand new convenience store just opened…..gas pumps have extra nozzle for “ non ethanol “….new name for reg gas ?
ALL 14 pumps are equipped this way…

What could be the thinking behind the capital cost of adding this “ infrastructure “

Is there something coming down the road we should know about…?

When will ol Joe announce that he is going to ship diesel to Ukraine to help their farmers…?
Don’t put it past him…🤣

fricken crazy drivers coming to FL...

WASHINGTON, May 26 (Reuters) - The U.S. Senate on Thursday confirmed by voice vote President Joe Biden's nominee to serve as the top auto safety regulator, the first to win approval since January 2017 and as U.S. traffic deaths have risen to the highest level in 16 years.

Steven Cliff has been serving as deputy administrator of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) since February 2021 and was nominated by Biden for the top job in October. His approval by the Senate comes amid soaring U.S. traffic deaths and several ongoing investigations into safety issues at Tesla Inc.(TSLA)

12533.....No, mugs, few of them know diddly....We went out to a local favorite "family" restaurant for dinner last night...Good food, super service, and reasonable prices [small-town pricing]....When were leaving and I was standing at the register to pay our bill, I handed this cute little AIRHEAD two $20. bills for the $36.50 total -- she stood there looking at the cash for a moment, then pulled out a calculator and proceeded to subtract the $36.50 from the $40. payment in order to know how much change to hand me....I bit my tongue as this was occuring as the wife gave me one of those "don't you dare say anything" stares....we walked quickly to the exit before I started laughing at the absurdity of the whole situation....Damn, those math classes must be working, right...?  somewhere, I hope....

Dual citizen communists

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2022/05/25/report-chuck-schumer-moving-quickly-to-force-gun-control-vote/

Another duel citizen communist

The Hill observes Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) concurred with the push for a gun control vote, saying, “We need to vote. We need to hold every member of the Senate accountable. Every one of us should be put on the record.”

This is ZOG.  They do not have the spine to go after American gun owners without disarming them first.  Once disarmed, you will be frog marched off to concentration camps  and murdered if you refuse to renounce Jesus Christ and agree to abide by their Noahide Laws.

https://fromthetrenchesworldreport.com/noahide-laws-passed-by-congree-1991-death-by-guillotine/86608

This is the real 'stand your ground' moment people.   These are the Satanists who now rule over us.

Blumenthal spouts on gun control. I think that faker War Hero DUAL citizen should engage Pyrite or RACK in a DUEL.

PB, lurn how ta spel. If you do not know the correct spelling you can always use the "(k)" addendum which generally refers to the Old Kitcoese.
Speaking of the Old Kitco, one wag claimed that he read a story on truckloads of MARSHALL LAW signs. I mentioned that they were more likely on the way back to get repainted with the correct spelling. We had a laugh.

You can tell when you are getting old when there is a reference to Saskatchewan and one takes at least fifteen seconds to recall the capital city. I used to know more about Canadian Geography than most Canadians. I find it annoying that there are few references to just where Canadian mining properties are, as if Canucks even know unless it is local.

The twit for yet another goomint orifice does not know his definitions of small arms. I would like to get him in a modified M1 that can go full auto. Gomer Pyle's Marines had M14s with select fire and did you ever see the comedy when put on full auto?
What a stupid sh1t. It doesn't take much more than thirty minutes to memorize the classes of shoulder fired arms. This dope had weeks to get the lesson plan and he failed on the first question.

Actually I like the M1. Good cartridge that is widely available. There were gobs of high quality Korean ammo in clips that was so cheap. 0.09/rd or perhaps less, but that was en-bloc with the ammo case. It smelled badly from the usable bandoliers but they aired out. The old Korean bandoliers are cheesie, but are OK with a light vest. Then you could buy with box M1919 machine gun belts and it was cheap. I gave Earl one or two at Libby to strip for his sweet M1.
I also like 8mm Mauser as the ammo is so cheap, but the Enfield .303 is a soft shoot with formerly cheap ammo that is quite reliable after 100 years. I like the bolt.

After watching the interview with the mother of that shooter in Uvalde, I immediately understood how the kid could be as f'd up with as clueless a parent as her....she had the intellect of an orange and comprehension of a slug....sheesh....The real frustration of incidents of this nature, at least in my opine, is the fact that dozens of social media followers KNEW the kid was troubled, KNEW he had some serious firearms, and KNEW he was angry at the school system, his job, you-name-it, yet NONE OF THEM shared any concerns with law enforcement or adults who might have been concerned...NONE of them....it's like that old Sicilian vow of "Omerta" with these juveniles, apparently so afraid of "telling" on a friend that they really become accomplices in the fulfillment of his warped actions.....

Why didn't PoG TDM? Easy, as there is so much out there that it is immune to crypto newbie scams. Twenty years ago you were told that there is an overhang of thirty years production of glod at that time when the veins were rich and the metal was all over brides in India, and all of that craposis.
Using my figures that are likely as worthless as charting, I predict that glod will do little unless there is a public mania inspired by MSM to jack it TDM. That is as unlikely as a clean diaper on the President.
Off to listen to the birds welcoming the brightening.

I am always amazed at the thousands of years ago that bred grains and tubers and all of what we have now.
I can have some bred cat that gives me glee that was bred long ago. I feed her food that is many centuries in the making, but yet, it is here from folks that I will never know.
I made stuff that would reduce the burden on the people that ran the presses on the floor. If one gets a half weight lifting job, would not that be of comfort? I always sought the information of the employees of our customer to improve their working lives. I make more and they make more by higher productivity and far fewer back ailments.

You have a very clear example of the democrat party model this morning...

The model:  If you rob from Peter to pay Paul, you can always depend on Paul's vote.

Well, Brandon announced he intends to forgive (whatever the hell that means) $10,000 in student debt IF (and get this) household income is under $150,000 which is a hell of a good income.

This is a prime example of the danger of democracy that Alexis de Tocqueville worried about with regard to the future of America.

Cases of Brain Damage in Children Skyrocket Following COVID-19 Vaccines

On Faux News they were bringing on Lee Greenwood to sing his 'at least I know I'm free' song.  I had to turn off the television quick to prevent myself from hurling.

As the lyrics to this Eagle's song go

Weaving down the American highway
Through the litter and the wreckage and the cultural junk
Bloated with entitlement, loaded on propaganda
And now we're driving dazed and drunk

Donbass on the other hand, not going so well

In Stunning Shift, WaPo Admits Catastrophic-Conditions, Collapsing-Morale Of Ukraine Front-Line Forces

"We are being sent to certain death," said a volunteer fighter in Donbass. "The casualties here are largely kept secret to protect morale among troops & the general public."

The report then pivots to the reality of an undertrained, poorly commanded and equipped, rag-tag force of mostly volunteers in the East who find themselves increasingly surrounded by the numerically superior Russian military which has penetrated almost the entire Donbas region.

I can add that it is next to impossible to find a school that is not in lockstep with goo pronouncements.
A child must have some sort of phonics learning that will give them reading. Well no, not all of the chilluns will read my library, but it is a start.
I gave away the last of my pms on financing my dodders. She now has enough to finance two years of three urchins.  I will not pay for masks on children or any of the scary crap.

I....HATE.... up/down, up/down days like this.
We are having too many of them.
Just packing up 70+ pounds of glod booyawn and taking it to the coin shop to sell is hard on my back and wasteful of gasoline.
ESPECIALLY when I have to go back in the afternoon to pick them back up for a lower price.
Doing this over the past months has pretty much dinged up my maple leefs to an unconscionable degree.
I no longer even find them nice enough to roll around in.

SNOWBIRD..... this convoluted "messaging system" is damn near ridiculous...to answer your inquiry, the only thing I'd consider on that list of Canadian coinage is the dollars at $20.00 (I assume that's $20. U.S.?) which is still a 13% premium over their melt value....resale here in the States, too, will likely only net you 85% of melt at the time you go to sell, so they're NOT a great way to buy silver....Erle has a bucket load of the damn things that he'd probably be thrilled to sell at a better price than $20. per....Now IF that quote is $20. Canadian, then buy all you can at that price!  You'd be in them at $15.60 roughly....

Green energy?  Not as advertised

As just one example you must dig up 500,000 lbs of earth in order to get the raw material for just one electric car battery.  The energy required to do this, of course, is never charged off to the electric car's "green profile", nor is the ecological damage.  And that's just for the battery; then there are the rare earth metals required for the motor(s).  Further, that's just to make the battery, you then must also come up with the energy to charge it, of course, every time you wish to use it.

Oh, Transition Eh?

The longer you ponder it, this conclusion becomes inescapable...

If Real Freedom Is Sought, the Government and Banking System Must Be Abolished?

By Gary D. Barnett
May 27, 2022

https://www.lewrockwell.com/2022/05/gary-d-barnett/if-real-freedom-is-sought-the-government-and-banking-system-must-be-abolished/

Government is criminal. Police and military are criminal enforcers of government. Modern central banking and money production are criminal. Surveillance is criminal. Censorship is criminal. The entire state apparatus is criminal, and should be permanently crippled. All government, and therefore all political states, always and only act with violent force. The essence of government is that it grows like a cancer, infecting everything it touches; it expands its powerful bureaucracies exponentially, and therefore is pure evil. There is no such thing as good government.

If any take offence to this position, if any side with those politicians they mistakenly refer to as ‘leaders,’ if any support the state in its efforts to steal, control, and murder, if any give their allegiance to politicians or the nation state, if any worship the state as God; then you will always be the problem, and never the solution. Freedom is the natural state of intelligent men, but freedom cannot, and never has existed when government is present. By ignoring government en masse, by never obeying orders handed down by the state, by never complying with any draconian measures demanded by government, by never allowing the theft of your property and earnings by the state; then and only then can you claim to be free.

12593...I'm not surprised, lonestar....there was talk of converting the old Olympic Beer brewery in Olympia, WA, into something on that order -- high-end retail stores, a few nice pricey restaurants, etc.  I don't know if it ever got done, though....It was a nice setting right alongside a small river that dumped into a lake called Capitol Lake and on into the lower Puget Sound....

The Mass Shooting and Liberal Utopian Society
May 27, 2022
A Feature, Not a Bug…

by Pastor Andrew Isker

https://news.gab.com/2022/05/27/the-mass-shooting-and-liberal-utopian-society/

America is an incredibly sick nation. There is a spiritual sickness that pervades everything like a dark cloud. The people who dominate every institution in our nation have held this power for at least sixty years. For these sixty years, they have treated this nation as a grand social experiment. They have made the natural family, the very bedrock of human civilization, an antiquated, outdated institution that we have progressed beyond. They have financialized and commodified all of human life, uprooting people from their homes and extended families, and making them mercenaries chasing after a rapidly devalued dollar. They have exported the industry of the nation impoverishing the heartland of the country and leaving them to languish in despair. They actively cheer the deaths and replacement of the hated population, while at the same time denying this was ever their intent. They have introduced racial and ethnic strife, and in the chaos actively undermined rule of law. Sixty years of full-spectrum control by utopian social engineers have transformed the most affluent society in human history into hell on earth.

This did not happen by accident. These people are motivated by a deep hatred of humanity. Like the geriatric that currently occupies the Oval Office who well represents them, they simply do not care how much people suffer. You might think the progressive is merely mistaken, deluded by ideology. This is not the case. They have had more than sixty years to see the full extent of human misery their ideology produces when applied to the healthiest and most prosperous conditions. They know what they are doing.

Replacing one can cost a motorist from $1,000 to $3,000, according to the National Insurance Crime Bureau, an insurance industry group that works to combat insurance fraud and crime. Police say thieves can get from $100 to $150 for each converter.

The insurance group counted just 3,969 reports of stolen catalytic converters in 2019, more than 17,000 in 2020 and more than 52,000 last year.

Listen to JFK's address to New York Journalists in 1961 to illustrate how far we have fallen.

“As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.”

Russia has now lost 30,000 soldiers in its war with Ukraine, as the months long invasion continues to stall amid fierce Ukrainian resistance.

In addition to the dead, Russia has lost 207 planes, 174 helicopters, 1,330 tanks, 628 pieces of artillery, and more than 3,000 armored vehicles, according to Ukrainian officials, The Sun reported.

That is from official Ukrainian sources, so you can toss it out the window. Best guess is Russian losses are about half that. Still bad, but Ukraine's losses are far higher, they are now losing about 500 per day, and they are surrendering in the thousands.

Everything I am hearing from multiple telegram channels and sitreps is that the Ukrainian army is near collapse in the east. They are cut off and nearly surrounded with little hope of re-supply.

Driving thru Ohio corn country this week I'd say  about 30-40 percent planted but barely a couple of inches high, everything else still looked way too wet to plant
