12004...jesse...I'm not trying to create a pissing contest here by suggesting that MAYBE that young man was, in some manner, INFLUENCED by some insideous agency to 'trigger' him into creating the situation he enacted in Buffalo....is that 'conspiratorial' or merely an alternative point of view?  As you said, perhaps his primary 'influences' to push him to such evil were parents or organizations or perhaps a bad experience in which Blacks abused him...pent-up anger and a need (in his mind) for vengeance to pay back those he perceived to be abusive?  I don't know...but, whatever brought him to the point of plotting and carrying out his plans HAD to involve a very definite strong influence from....someone....or somewhere...

The link in this tweet is to an article in the left wing mag "The Nation".
Turns out Biden's (ex) ministry of truth head Nina Jankowicz spent many years whitewashing the Azov nazis.

You night find it difficult to make it through the epithets of an arrival of storage food. Ceylon/Sri Lanka had those rather pretty gals as bearers in the movie, "Bridge on the River Kwai". They might now be more appreciative of stored food even if it is skewed toward canned chili and chicken.

OK - this is complete conspiracy theory. I don't know the source, no way to verify, so take this with a grain of salt. But this is something I wondered about...
Taken from a comment section of a Russian site, Posted verbatim, maybe a machine translation which is available in telegram.

****************************************

A conspiracy is brewing in the Ukrainian “elites”

Volodymyr Zelenskyy seemed to have received information about preparations for his assassination by radical nationalists of the Azov battalion as a sign of retribution for the surrender of his brothers at the Azovstal plant in Mariupol.

According to Banderites, Zelensky deliberately brought the situation to a catastrophe in order to get rid of the Azov national formation, which is the most dangerous for his government. Among other things, nationalists believe that Zelensky is already secretly preparing to surrender the country and flee to the West. At present, he is negotiating the introduction of a Polish “peacekeeping” contingent into a number of western regions.

Under a plausible pretext, all available stocks of wheat and other grain crops are being exported from the country. And this indicates that the independence of a significant part of the country will soon be actually lost. At the same time, Zelensky’s office understands that in the coming days, the Ukrainian army will lose its combat readiness and the predominant part of Ukraine will come under the control of the Russian Federation. Where will their military-civilian administrations be formed in these territories.

Translated from Russian from a certain Telegram channel. Cannot guarantee the info, but there could some truth in it…:)

Would be a happy ending. Good for everyone, actually. Neutral Ukraine, NATO backs off, commodities stabilize. Not what Washington wants, unfortunately. And already too late to avoid a global food crisis.

What am I to do with a five gallon pail of .800 Canadian coin? No vending machine takes dimes or dollars. I haven't looked in years but I suspect they only take paper. Noone(k) wants the junk as the preppers won't touch the .800. The strikes on the dollars are quite poor and in low relief. Most sane people view Canada geese as lawn pests and the canoe things are truly uninspired.
Then there is that mug of the queen on the obverse. We used to have a reasonably buxom lady liberty on some coins and the Indian incused are attractive. The frogs had a pretty Marianne. Who wants the British royal? You might as well collect Vittorio Emanuel slugs. The Argentine tiddlywinks are quite good because they portray an ideal rather than some hereditary mope that pissed away his/her empire.
The French and their rooster are as good as it gets for design.

Erle the cost of refining your 80% into .999 needs to be calculated, I somehow doubt whatever is left on the table would make it economical, but you would get a by-product credit on the copper.

AF, I was not born yesterday and do know about the refining discount for .900 US coin of several years ago. Now the .900 US crap is going far above spot and the Canadian languishes.
That is akin to buying 1/10 iggles and Canadian for spot delivered at one time. The premium came back with vengeance so one ounce was severely lagging tenth oz.X10. It still is a big spread even if Pyrite mocks the 1/10 slugs with his tales of Muffy and Larry, or whatever.

There are a PASSEL of woke dopes who browse the PCGS coin forum

https://forums.collectors.com/

The new girl who polices the board for the past couple years has run off most of the experienced posters who USED TO post great info.
They have a "Precious Metals" category on the forum.  They also have a Buy Sell Trade section.
From what I can see, ANYTHING remotely connected to sludge seems to sell pretty fast.

The preponderance of "investors" (still allowed to post  :D )  really seem to like silver ANYTHING.

Regardless of the characters on that board, it does seem to be a place to dump sludge or any other crap.
"Racist" is a toolword. You must know that.
Any objective examination of the effect of "them" has to lead you to the behavior and ideology that is now termed, "racist."

Refute if you can.

The House of the Rising Sun is not the famous whorehouse in America, it's the US House of Representatives.

House Passes Price-Gouging Bill as Gasoline Costs Soar -- Market Talk
Today 12:32 PM ET (Dow Jones)Print

1232 ET - The Democratic-led House passed legislation 217-207, largely along party lines, that would give the Federal Trade Commission more authority to prosecute price gouging if the president declares a national emergency. The legislation would also create a new unit within the FTC focused on monitoring fuel markets. The bill comes as gasoline prices nationwide are soaring, with the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gas now at $4.58 a gallon, according to AAA. The bill is largely seen as messaging from Democrats ahead of this year's midterm elections, and it is unlikely to pass the Senate, where it would need bipartisan support. (eliza.collins@wsj.com)

The so-called people's representatives have sent billions to Ukraine which no Americans are really interested in, handed out taxpayer financed bio-weapon injections like candy along with so-called free COVID test kits and NOW have the temerity to go after energy companies that they hamstrung with pipeline and lease cancellations with price gouging.

I was totally shocked by my father's comment back in the 1980s when he flatly stated that there are days when he thinks "the greatest service that some foreign foe could provide to American citizens would be to send in ICBM right into Washington D.C."; the backdrop on dad is that he was a WWII MARINE who served in the South Pacific.  At this point, I am not that sure my dad was not on to something.

Cryptocurrency trading platform FTX is launching a stock trading platform called FTX Stocks that will allow investors to trade cryptocurrencies alongside stocks, as it aims to offer investors a full suite of asset class options in a one-stop investment shop.

"Our goal is to offer a holistic investing service for our customers across all asset classes,” said FTX U.S. President Brett Harrison. “With the launch of FTX Stocks, we have created a single integrated platform for retail investors to easily trade crypto, NFTs, and traditional stock offerings."

FTX is launching the platform in a private beta phase for select U.S. customers chosen from a waitlist first. Available through the U.S. trading app that already provides crypto trading, hundreds of stocks and ETFs will be available for investment, including the ability to invest in fractions of shares.

This illustration photo shows a smart phone screen displaying the logo of FTX, the crypto exchange platform, with a screen showing the FTX website in the background in Arlington, Virginia on February 10, 2022. - Sam Bankman-Fried donned a suit and tie this week, abandoning his preferred hoodie and dark T-shirt for a hearing before US Senators.  The lawmakers had summoned the 29-year-old multi-billionaire on Wednesday to discuss the regulation of digital assets in his capacity as co-founder and CEO of the cryptocurrency exchange platform FTX (Photo by OLIVIER DOULIERY / AFP) (Photo by OLIVIER DOULIERY/AFP via Getty Images)

Like most online brokerage firms, trades will be commission free. In addition, users will not be charged a fee for brokerage accounts and there are no minimum balances required. Customers will be able to fund their accounts with stablecoins backed by fiat currencies like Circle’s USDC through a partnership with the FTX US crypto exchange or dollars.

FTX will initially route all orders through Nasdaq, and will not receive any payment for order flow – a controversial practice of routing customer orders to high-speed traders in exchange for cash. FTX is taking a different strategy than the popular stock trading app Robinhood, which relies on payment for order flow, and has found itself in the crosshairs of the Securities and Exchange Commission in the midst of meme stock trading involving GameStop and other names.

FTX’s move comes after it invested in the New York-based stock exchange, IEX, this spring and after FTX Cofounder and Chief Executive Sam Bankman-Fried bought a stake in trading-app Robinhood, which has already offered trading in crypto alongside stocks through its own app.

We're at or near important inflection points in many markets. Rates have topped & bonds look ready to run. USD appears poised for a big reversal to the downside. Silver & gold & the miners are beginning big runs to the upside & the equity markets are bottoming & poised for a melt-up.

 ;) 8)

Mr. and Mr. PB1 were shopping at a local Cub grocery store (no I am not making up that name) and chanced upon this T-bone that had been marked down $6 to $7.99 per pound.  We tossed it on the Phillips smokeless grill we purchased a while back and 16 minutes later we enjoyed a steak dinner.

All I've seen at Cub lately is large markdowns in meat but not fruits or vegetables.   What I suspect is behind this is the skyrocketing diesel fuel costs.  It is better to just butcher here and sell rather than paying the costs of refrigeration and shipping out of the Midwest.

Sometimes it is good to be living in flyover land.

Where was it last fall/winter a truck overturned with a load of "dogs" per the driver
and they turned out to be monkeys? The CDC was called in and held a monkey hunt?
I'm looking for a very deadly disease that is hard to spread BUT would require vote by mail out of a concern for public safety. They may even have to cancel the election.
The dems and deep state can not allow another free election and survive.

been eligible for 3yrs now. Dangerbird, I started drawing @ 63.5 years. We only took paychecks for a small bit over $200 a week. Both my wife and my brothers wife had good jobs. We lived pretty thinly on that but at fiscal year end we collected rent from the company that was taxable but not taxable for FICA. Also never told the wives about all our rental income. PM's were dirt cheap back then so have been backed up for a long time. Never really made much money but invested in the right thing.
When I started FICA the math for waiting for the max made no sense. I will start losing money if I live to be 84 by starting early. If I live to be that old I will be sitting in a wheelchair with a spit bowl in my lap. FWIW

This is Geert Vanden Bossche again, gets pretty technical but he thinks the worst is yet to come, because of the vexxine. Yes the vexxine does weaken the immune system, we see it in actuarial data.

My son (double vexed) and DIL (triple vexxed) are both recovering from covid with mild symptoms. Hope they are listening now. My main fight is no vexxine for the grandkids.

Monkey pox.   Avoid prairie dogs and same sex partners

Pathways
Many of the cases identified in the current outbreak are in men who identify as gay or bisexual or other men who have sex with men (MSM). In fact, the UK has targeted its public health efforts at sexual health clinics to find many of their most recent cases. Portugal noted in its health advisory that their more than 20 suspected cases are all in men, mostly young men.

"Many of these global reports of monkeypox cases are occurring within sexual networks," Inger Damon, a poxvirus expert with the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said in a statement late Wednesday.

But although sexual networks appear to be a main pathway for transmission so far, health experts are cautious to emphasize that it's not the only one. "Anyone, regardless of sexual orientation, can spread monkeypox," the CDC warned. Inger, along with the agency, urged all clinicians to look out for the disease, regardless of travel or specific risk factors.

While the mysterious community transmission in a variety of countries is raising concern among global public health agencies, international monkeypox cases are not unheard of. Travel-related cases crop up periodically; there were two imported monkeypox cases in the US during 2021, for instance. In 2003, the US saw an outbreak of 47 cases across six states; the eruption was traced to pet prairie dogs that had been housed with monkeypox-infected rodents from Ghana. All 47 cases had direct contact with the infected prairie dogs.

The WEF are criminals as far as I am concerned along with the three letter agencies. World agencies as well. They are all products of the Globalists who have given us the lab created vaccine and the not so effective vaccine with its many issues. Now monkey virus, and hepatitis in children's vaccines. We have a nurses shortage here because the stupid Nurses Unions did not back up freedom of choice and many lost their job because they would not take the so called vaccine. Many did and are now having health issues. The Globalists are destroying humanity for their great reset.

The former is not to be touched with a 10-ft barge pole; the latter, I wish I had bought rubles at 2000/gold onz....I'd be almost 100% richer...
How can that be?...The café I visit, has a large CNN screen that is always telling me the Ukkie war is going well...sapping Russian resolve and resources...but clearly not the ruble. Eish, this whirld is so confusing!
