A “silent coup” is a coup d’état that takes place without the use of force, carried out by a government that exercises power in an unconstitutional way.

Silver and platinum are calling now for major economic trouble.

But Biden tilts at the windmills of Russia and climate change.

If the decisions from SCOTUS keep coming like this decision, you won't have to even worry about the radical left as all their heads will have exploded.

Following Landmark Second Amendment Decision, SCOTUS Overturns Appeals Court Decisions in 4 States

The Supreme Court followed up its June 23 landmark ruling that for the first time recognized a constitutional right to carry firearms in public for self-defense, by issuing a series of rulings June 30 reversing federal appeals court decisions that upheld gun restrictions in California, New Jersey, Maryland, and Hawaii.

Courts will find it difficult to uphold the firearms laws in question after the high court’s June 30 and June 23 rulings.

We have a wee bit more downside next week pre UER, but that looks like a shot at "the bottom"

On Thursday, the GDXJ briskly sold down to $32, which is the 50% retracement level from its August 2020 peak at $64 and was last seen when gold was being offered at $1375 per ounce three years ago. The junior miner ETF also closed the farthest below its monthly Bollinger Band support line since its inception in 2009. When combined with trading at the weekly Relative Strength Index (RSI) near 30, these are technical indications of the junior miner sector closing in on a near-term upside reversal.

Just got an update from G&R; no spare capacity, thanks for the SPR oil, Jo-Jo, we need it more than you, Shuffles.

No O&G spare capacity left to to do the 'green' transition, as if that's gonna happen now, dream on, geek boy.

The primary reason for this is years of chronic underinvestment, due to years of lame political virtue signaling.

The stock market seems content with negative interest rates.  Gold should certainly be.

If the July rate increase is 50BP or Powell rolls to dovishness after 75BP methinks that would be all it takes to support gold much higher.

A strong dollar is a sham for a debt collapse in other currencies. But if the dollar continues to rise against the real currency, I run out of explanations.

So what was it, twitter, you're 'news' doesn't fit with the facts, it seldom does, not that it matters much anymore.

14336...lonestar...sorry, missed your earlier question reg. Medicare...yes, of course we're 'users'....signed up at the time I retired about 6+ years ago...Had coverage via my wife's company-paid insurance, so had few 'medical' bills....but plenty of dental billings which were limited to $1300./year....Hell, you can hardly get a tooth drilled and filled any more for $1300. ....Yeah, anyway, we do have a supplemental policy with United Healthcare....no complaints about their coverage or service, other than creeping increases of premiums over the past 6+ years....But, then, our car insurance went up about $140. over last years, too, so....whatta ya do...they've got ya by the short hairs, eh? (someone explain that one to Bigley)

https://www.financialsense.com/podcast/20303/peter-zeihan-discusses-his-latest-book-end-world-just-beginning

Jul 1, 2022 – After this week's market wrap-up, Financial Sense Newshour speaks with the well-known geopolitical strategist Peter Zeihan to discuss his latest book, The End of the World Is Just the Beginning: Mapping the Collapse of Globalization, which you can order by clicking here. From Amazon: "In The End of the World Is Just the Beginning, author and geopolitical strategist Peter Zeihan maps out the next world: a world where countries or regions will have no choice but to make their own goods, grow their own food, secure their own energy, fight their own battles, and do it all with populations that are both shrinking and aging. The list of countries that make it all work is smaller than you think. Which means everything about our interconnected world - from how we manufacture products, to how we grow food, to how we keep the lights on, to how we shuttle stuff about, to how we pay for it all - is about to change. A world ending. A world beginning. Zeihan brings readers along for an illuminating (and a bit terrifying) ride packed with foresight, wit, and his trademark irreverence."

The COT report shows that the Commercial level of "shorts" in silver have dropped to 89.6 million ounces. That is through Tuesday, June 28th. Silver continued lower for 3 more days, so the "short" position is now probably around 50 million ounces.
In the past, this has been a HUGE GREEN LIGHT to buy silver. I know most everyone has basically given up on the metals, but there is an opportunity here to make big bucks if the past is any indication. JMVHO DYODD

I keep wondering how many will be around to see the "end of the world."   I mean not literally the END...but the end of the economies everywhere.
I just can't see anyone proposing any resistance.   Lots of whining and passing along the latest foofaraw but not oiling the guns.

I'm guilty of this too.   All I seem to whine about is how nobody is doing anything BUT whining.

Global hemophobia?

This dry land wheat area does not even expect a good harvest every year…so that storyline is a bust.
There was one report that a lot of dry land wheat is not planted for the grain but rather winter pasture for stocker cattle….cattle graze all winter and pulled off come springtime and the wheat can still make grain….interesting

This bid drop in price has many a lender getting nervous….or they should be getting nervous…
Way too much debt in the farming sector….this might be the last crop before the auctioneer starts singing …
Bigger problem….the young specs getting long have never heard the saying that the second mouse gets the cheese…..😉

This Catholic scholar does not pull any punches.  He speaks what is on his mind and if it seems offensive to some, it is only because they remain victims of decades long propaganda which leaves many unable to see through the fog.

14388.....you need to get out more often, wolavka....

"pawn shops are dead meat....."  Maybe where you are they are, but that's not the case up here....I stopped in at a nearby shop that also does guns and military stuff the other day....I had to wait a fair while as the two guys working there serviced their Pawn customers who were also waiting their turns....I asked the owner how bidneth was, and he said with a broad smile, "Better than we've seen it in the past ten years...lots of folks are scrambling to meet expenses, so we're seeing decent collateral come in and lots of roll-over renewals..."

They had a dozen or more quality cars (they won't consider loans on any junk or anything that's liened) sitting in a tall razor-wired enclosure behind the shop...racks were overflowing with "stuff" inside as were their gun cases and related stuff....

This is the DAWNING of the age of the pawnshop!
Just talking to Cindy today who ran her We Buy Gold store back when we met.
Costs are going to kill Joe Public!
He'll be bringing in more crap than ever before.
Trick for the pawn BROKER will be finding any outlets to dump the junk.
Even when I was open, I had to drop and drop power tools.
DeWalt sawzall?  10 bucks.
Thankfully I had a flea market guy to buy ALL tools every Tuesday.
This country has no personal savings and precious little personal property.
Pawnshops are gonna be the busiest stores in town.

RE: Pawn Shops

They are still alive and well in the Twin Cities.  Over the past 5 to 6 years I have purchased all of my firearms at a local pawn shop.  All the background checks were completed in that pawn shop.

There were additional paperwork and another more detailed background check required by a local police station for the purchase of a Glock as well as an Colt AR-15.

For concealed carry there is accredited training required, along with a county Sheriff Office application to fill out plus a fee of $100 for a five year permit.

PB ...why do have both Medicare and BlueCross.  Is there an annual limit on what each will pay?

Norwester and PB...why isn't Medicare coverage enough by itself

lonestar.....have you had to experience any hospitalization or perhaps any treatments other than on an 'out patient' basis? Medicare severely  discounts the billing totals issued by hospitals/doctors in most cases by at least 30 to 60%....Of course, most of that is justifiable in that the bills for those services are dramatically inflated....However, YOU as the patient can be held responsible for those underpayments unless you have some 'supplemental' coverage....that's where United Healthcare or Blue Cross, etc. come in as a virtual necessity and safeguard...They normally make up the balance difference from what Medicare allowed and paid...or at least pay enough additional to satisfy the hospital's billing dept.

Lonestar,  Mike answered your question with a better explanation than I ever could have come up with.  A few huge bills and that 20 percent that Medicare does not cover can really hose your savings in a hurry.

Mrs. PB1 had one hip and one knee replaced while I had a three hour long sinus surgery, numerous retina tears and an eye surgery at Phillips Eye Institute in Minneapolis due to a deformity in the retina, likely caused by all the tears.

When I add up all the sticker prices on the above and throw in two cataract surgeries for the two of us, even 20% is staggering.

I was very nervous about the galloping costs of medical issues when I retired in 2008 so we ended up choosing the high end Blue Cross plan which covered 100% of the above.

pie right the reason you had to dump power tools is because home depot and lowes  MUST TAKE BACK THE RETURNS EVEN WHEN ALMOST NEW OR USED ONLY ONCE. iN TEXAS AS EXAMPLE, THERE WHERE MILLIONS OF MEXICANS THAT WOULD BUY FOR CASH SAY A NEW WET SAW (WET BACK) used for tile jobs. Theyd do job then return tool. the el cheapo (depot) then would send the semi loads of tools to atlanta and auctioned off the pallets to amg asset mgmt group which would buy the semi loads of pallets then sell in their wharehouse to public and over e bay. I saw it all. even bought semi loads for resale.

I noticed that my supplemental ins. shows  "submitted charges (SC),""plan allowance (PA),"  "medicare payments (MP), and "supplemental ins" (SI). "  A typical bill follows:

SC   $120
  PA  $86
MP  $69
SI   $17 so total payments made to provider were $87

the difference between the $120  billed and the $87 paid by a combination of both Mecicare and supplemental $33 was not billed to me because the plan allowance only provided for $86

I think that the plan allowance is a negotiated amount

so I wonder, if I were to have no supplemental, would I be required to pay the $33

Wet, misty-cool day up here in the NW corner of the lower 48, so a good day to stay indoors....We opted to go to a movie, quite a change from Netflix or Hulu watching....For those who followed his career years ago, ELVIS, the film was well worth watching.  The young man who portrayed the King, Austin Butler, did a superb job in the role -- not so much as an exact look-alike, but a very credible performance as he gyrated in Elvis fashion on the stage. . .Tom Hanks, that lefty Hollyweird celeb, played the role of Elvis's "manager/promoter", and was as slimy as possible in steering a lot of benefits and income in his own direction rather than to Elvis...anyway, it's a l-o-n-g 2 1/2 hour fast-moving production, but one I'd certainly recommend as worth seeing....

"Outright theft" Ben, that is crazy nuts! The entire world is one big jamb job right now. Legalized theft. I just ordered a book by Robert Kennedy Jr from abebooks.com
The book is around 500 pages- normally. It arrived Friday, all 25 pages are quadruple
spaced. It seems I may have ordered the abbreviated version. Pretty sure that it was the same version as the other 15 to 20 or so others. I put in a complaint with abebooks.com. Time will tell. I have ordered at least 100 other books from them over that years, thanks Erle, and NEVER a problem. A bad vendor making a good company look not so good. You can't trust any place any more it seems. Double check everything.

14414...on-line ordering problems?  no kidding!  I did an order with a 'reputable' company a month or so back....They projected shipping of my products about 7-8 days out....about day 6, I got another 'delay' email that shipping wouldn't be happening for at least another week, and "possibly longer".....I kinda wanted the stuff sooner, so I called them to inquire about these two delays....They put the blame on the shipping problems, both from Asian-made stuff, and locally made items here in the U.S. ....When I finally did get my order, they left out a pair of slippers and, instead, put a gaudy red-orange hoodie in the box, nothing I'd ordered and nowhere near my size anyway!  They did apologize and sent me a pre-paid mailing label to return the hoodie, promising an adjustment to my account....I told them to cancel the slippers as I'd found some locally that I liked....after two billing cycles, I finally saw a credit-back on my VISA card...sheesh....ya think 'Markin industries have gone to s**t in recent years?

So a friend came to visit from Africa and brought me some ivermectin. Over there we used for treatment of round worm in intestines. Anyway he brought 2 pkts of 4 x 3ml pills. Is that enough to treat covid this coming winter or do i need a bigger supply?  So total 8 pills of 3ml. So not trying to start a food fight however I would like to know if I have enough to ward off a bout of covid.

Roan... My understanding for dosing with Iver

The target is 100Mg if one has the illness... I have 12Mg pills... 9x12=108Mg... 9 day program

For prevention of illness... 12x5=60Mg

I've completed both protocols just because I can... never had the couf and will never get it... I use 2% Lugol's everyday(4drops) along with D-mannose 4x/day..add in UV from the Sun and couf is fecked..

Serrapeptase should be taken daily if anybody took the jab... it will prevent the micro.clots from becoming the last.clot and a visit from the grim reaper.

Their reco is 0.3-0.6 mg per kg of body weight for 5 days minimum. There are also additional items in the protocol.

Lots of additional information via the home site.

ROAN….ivermectin…
A quick search came up with this NIH article…

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33278625/

What I have read the dosage is so many micrograms per kg of body weight…the Ziverdo kits have three 12 mg in the packet…and that probably works out for the peeps in India and Bangladesh due the small stature of the population…ie…lardasses are not the norm there as much as they are “grown” in N America..

If my memory serves me well…a 100 kg ( 220lbs) would require about 20 mg..

ZIgg is setting pretty good in inventory of Ziverdo and 12 mg ivermectin.
PM me if so desired..😉
