Notna….@ Btw, took forever and thankfully the tree is only 8…
Tell me about that…picked 4 five gallon buckets full of ping pong size of green peaches…
Probably took 7-8 hours. !
If you don’t thin, all you get is peach skins n pits..and they are very slow to ripe..
As for your Jack Frost survivor ….more than likely that growth is from the root stock. And it all depends on what king of rootstock was used for the graft..dwarf,semi dwarf or standard. the rootstock is chosen for the height/ growth of the desired variety…
You can order the same variety in all three sizes….nothing more than taking a scion from a variety you like and grafting to another root…took a  cutting from a semi dwarf White Belle of Georgia and grafted to a standard stock ( peach tree that grew from a pit)…had twice as much growth on the standard rootstock than on the original semi dwarf tree..
The tree that  was grafted to was 7-8 years old and failed to produce,so cut the whole tree down a put a bud under the bark….

Couple things I’ve learned…the 10’ and 20’  thingy about semi / dwarf seem to relate to length of time the tree will produce fruit…it seems the stunting of the tree using rootstock has a negative effect on the tree eventually….maybe not..
ZIgg has had more success with the standard, and control growth with the saw and loppers…the peach trees look like someone was out to kill the tree…😀
Any growth over 8-9 ft from the ground is gone…trees look like they have crew cuts..
Couple years ago I cut a 9’ sucker out of the tree…dang thing wants to grow to be a saw log….and the more and harder I prune it the more fruiting spurs I have for next year..

Both of the fruiting trees are O’ Henry…great peach..red blush, freestone and very sweet an juicy….we ( used to be a good team of ZIgg & Parky…just ZIgg now)… make 5-6 batches of peach jam…and then we freeze the inner makings of peach pie / peach custard..
Recipe calls for 4 C. Chopped Peaches and 2 C. Sugar…and that is the way it goes into freezer
The sugar helps to keep the peaches in a liquid so there are no freezer burns…only add one cup of sugar for the eat out of the bag treats

Instead of using lemon juice as most jam recipes call for,try using 1-2 tablespoons of LIME….does a great job of the Sweet Sour balancing act that make your flavor buds do somersaults in your mouth…😂

My mother used a 1/4 of paraffin to seal jam jars…never used “ lids”

Peach jam sounds good without the sucrose. I bought some peach jam from a ((())) outfit in NYC. It was only two years out of date and as dark as the murderers here.
Needless to report that they told me to feck off or I will be on the anti semitic list.

Food shortage…?
And how to “talk your book”

https://www.zerohedge.com/commodities/were-crisis-american-farmer-warns-impending-food-shortages

Doesn’t mention how much his farm land increased in value in such a short time…or…that he would be willing to spend a million dollars to buy a tractor and combine….painted green no less…
Did you catch the short in DE….-14% in a day….Warren will someday own John Deere…
Class B is nothing more than BNSF…..Class C will be Deere

If there is a food shortage it will come at the end of “ crop year”….that is when there is no carry over from prior harvest….and this years harvest has not started….
When the cupboards are truly bare pre harvest is when the SHTF…

The second mouse will do quite well….🤑🐀💰😉

@ Zigg at food junk. I blew an ounce to gather canned goods. I am somewhat picky as I did not go for the high salt stuff.
Fifty pound bags of rice are still cheap. Even canned Dinty Moore can palliate hunger. My deal is the wife that goes full bore on me for provisions. We at one time actually ate canned corn. That is now forgotten.

Dr. Malone talks about the implications of the WHO treaty that the Biden regime is now pushing. worth watching. I personally think that the monkeypox crap is part of stirring up a fear campaign to gain support.

He is also dropping huge warnings about the WEF

Joggers cannot swim so the busted county needs automated boats to curtail their drowning. Never mind that the joggers all congregate on the far east portion of the county whereas crackers a couple of miles west seem to be racially abled to teach their urchins how to swim. A 9mm is sorta' bad when gasping underwater.

We had a thunderstorm yesterday that knocked down two large trees on my property as well as no electricity till this morning. Very tired because one tree fell on the driveway and blocked our exit. It took over 8 hours to clean up that mess and I still need to address the maple in the side yard. Next door two trees snapped in 1/2 and most likely I will be helping them because they are older than myself. Well finally got electricity again. My cell phone service sucks in my area and communication was very limited. Need to think about putting in a gas generator for juice. Still over 300,000 households in my area without electricity.

Is this labor rebate program still in effect….?

“ The 2020 ERC Program is a refundable tax credit of 50% of up to $10,000 in wages paid per employee from 3/12/20-12/31/20 by an eligible employer. THAT’S $5,000 PER EMPLOYEE! In 2021 the ERC increased to 70% of up to $10,000 in wages paid per employee per quarter for Q1, Q2, and Q3. That is a potential of up to $21,000 per employee.”

…….

One good thing I can see coming from Putin's police action is that Western Europe will have to shift subsidies and other sources of funding from climate change and other communist social engineering schemes to energy security and food security. Other wise populist uprisings will sweep them away into the dust bin of history.

Your use of 'dickweeds' in 12243,  Bigley, reminded me on an incident a jillion years ago when I was still teaching....on the junior high/middle school level at the time....An associate and I were talking about a few 'difficult' students -- kinda smart-asses and trouble makers -- and we referred to them as "dickfors"....The Home Economics teacher who was sitting across the room raised her head from the notepad she was using and innocently asked, "What's a dickfor"?  Both of us just stared at her for a moment then Bob said, "Repeat that slowly, Nancy", which she started to do until she got to the "What's a di.....", stopping abruptly, red-faced and semi-embarrassed as she hurried from the faculty lounge stiffling a laugh.....She was, in her defense, not the sharpest tool in the kit and, as far as we knew, she had no boyfriends or frame-of-reference for that question.....

12248...By the way, that's a beautiful area (Couer d'Alene), but so much so that a lot of Kaliphoney techy-millionaires started moving in there 4-5 years ago and have driven property values to the moon as they bought up a lot of the waterfront properties around the lake as well as some McMansions there in town....Another guy I can put you in touch with is right there in Couer d'Alene, too...he also used to work for me and has at least 3-4 nice pistols I'm sure he'd loan you...He teaches survival education classes at several of the high schools there....lemme know...

NW'er, most of the pod people up here have no clue about the wef dickweeds, if they do, it's merely another CT.

Oh, really, did you know our PM and that Freeland witch are graduates of the wef's "Young Leaders" program?

Do you know the FedGoo uses the wef's slogans in our green and diverse government advertizing campaigns?

Do you know you are destined for farm animal status, probably in the near future, with the wef's CBDC plan?

Um, they appear to be running the country for us already, check out the hired help, ding, ding, wakey-wakey.

Run out of town on a rail is an old American saying; one is seated on a long plank and literally run out of town.

Next, they are usually unceremoniously dumped in a ditch and depending on the deed, tarred and feathered, ouch.

Oh, you have the very same infestation in the usa, PB, nothing to see here, folks, let's move on...

Onward we go, up more frightening creeks.

I find it interesting that many so-called analysts are trying to call a bear market entry when most of them have never experienced a true bear market.

Vlad's got lots of quality stuff to sell in rubles, lots of buyers too, turning the ruble into a de facto reserve currency.

I see the ruble is right down to 57...? Clearly, the bait Putin laid is working--pay for gas in rubles or nyet! Now EU was forced--thru' very convoluted arguments in their style--that importing gas for rubles is NOT breaking Russian sanctions. Perhaps  someone well versed in  high political matters, can explain this argument? It's almost comic that the best performing currency is the ruble and coincidentally (?) King Dollar is down and down...

Apollo….name one country who has a bigger “budget” than the US….
The ruble has buying power for the resources needed by the rest of the whirld
What has the Euro have ?

And as far as the hype of the US and the GDP…..that number is just a reflection of how much US retailers marked up Chinese manufactured goods…

The grave has been dug for NATO…and the Euro
And the wef boyz know….they dug the grave..🤣

The reason that the Russian economy looked so small is that the ruble was vastly undervalued. Their debt to GDP ratio was about 25%, compared to 150% for the U.S.
The ruble is up 7% today against the dollar.

It is time for identifying the Normie

https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Normie

On vaccines, Ukraine, global warming/climate change, systemic racism/white privilege and numerous other issues, examine your reactions to them to determine if you have fallen for the Normie trap (and it is a trap).

Clif High often refers to the normie and how the onset of heretofore deeply held secrets are being revealed at an unprecedented rate  and if normie make no attempt to keep up their heads will explode (not literally) at some point.

Nope. The Marxism is well embedded in American institutions, most predominantly in our Education establishment and in media.

China operates as a kleptocracy with the suppression of Christianity.  Russia is NOT the USSR.  Christian Orthodox churches were all opened up by Putin who actively practices his faith.   Putin's move into eastern Ukraine was a righteous act to protect an active slow genocide of ethnic Russians.  It took him 8 long years to react to the suffering.   The blowback from Russia should have been done immediately after Victoria Nuland's State Department engineered coup of a legitimately elected Russian friendly government.

Mr. and Mrs. PB1 visited Russia in 2013 on a University of Wisconsin sponsored alumni trip which included Poland,  Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.  We say the KGB secret facilities that tortured and murdered Lithuanians turned in by their neighbors when the USSR dominated the Baltics; neither of us have any illusions about communism and the many millions of innocent lives that they lunatics took.   Both St. Petersburg and Moscow are thriving cities.  The reality of the situation is obvious for anyone who has walked the streets and has eaten in their restaurants.

That is my story and I am sticking to it.

I went to Russia twice about 10 years ago. Russia is not a third world country. Maybe 1.5 but not even a second world country. The cold war has been over for more than 30 years and folks are still operating on the tons of propaganda we got fed about them. I found them to be an incredibly warm people and very resourceful. Also they are big time planners. They don't make a move without a plan. The food was also wonderful. Also extremely Christian in the Russian Orthodox Church. Also they are extremely well educated in technology. It doesn't surprise me that they can develop extremely effective weapon systems on a shoestring budget.

Setting up a down day tomorrow - look for a wee bounce Wednesday morning pre-FOMC minutes & then a bump Thursday/Friday after, but next week = Goldmagedon with the UER after Memorial Day. Good news, once we get through the UER, we will get a decent bounce in June & then down mid-late July for the final entry to what should be a glorious end of AUG/SEPT & then we'll see how we do in down-spiraling SM & OCT-SM-Magedon

A Russian diplomat reportedly has resigned from his post in opposition to the "aggressive war unleashed by President Vladimir Putin against Ukraine" and the "warmongering, lies and hatred" coming from the country’s foreign ministry.
Boris Bondarev’s resignation letter was published by U.N. Watch, which describes itself as a "non-profit organization dedicated to holding the United Nations accountable to its founding principles."
"My name is Boris Bondarev, in the MFA of Russia since 2002, since 2019 until now — Counsellor of the Russian Mission to the UN Office at Geneva," he reportedly wrote. "For twenty years of my diplomatic career I have seen different turns of our foreign policy, but never have I been so ashamed of my country as on February 24 of this year."
Bondarev said on that date, the war unleashed by Putin "and in fact against the entire Western world, is not only a crime against the Ukrainian people, but also, perhaps, the most serious crime against the people of Russia, with a bold letter Z crossing out all hopes and prospects for a prosperous free society in our country."
