A bought a few shares of FSM.  The price seemed right.  I don't care much for most of the silver stocks, but what the heck.

Is Bitcoin, or, StableCoin which just went to zero - or the exchanges for this garbage a systemic risk??

We've now wiped out over $200B in Crypto value in very short period - someone'(ss) got a ton of margin they can't meet

Would look for GLD 167.10 for our next meaningful bounce. Which means, a dip below $1800. But that rally should be sold. 167.10 bounce will put a right shoulder in & we are going down after that into the end of July (that will be the Mother of all Buys)

NW….a dawg named Sludge…
Got a catch the falling knife game going on right now…

https://finviz.com/futures_charts.ashx?t=SI&p=w1

One would think there would be some sorta bounce off of $20..
Not much air left in the ball to get a decent “bounce”..

Still think that chart will have a double bottom as SLV  announcement of end of “game”

Way to much silver lost by the sub custodians
Be good for silver stocks….if no one can play the SLV game they will have to buy silver stocks to get exposure to silver…

Too many PM stocks making new lows today.  New lows breed more new lows.

Knee jerk rallies will come, but with the DOW and S&P making new yearly lows, any buy here contains risk.  Maybe some oversold day trades may work.

 ??? ::)

After the last 3 weeks, not really sure I will be able to sit down again as I seem to have lost my rear end in the market.   In terms of the tax man, the only think that will be recognized is a $2700 plus gain which can be offset by a $3000 loss carryover from last year.    However, the loss in value of unsold assets is now in access of $25K since January 1st.

Not even Charmin will comfort PB1's ASSets.

Lawmaker Says Illegal Immigrants Getting ‘Pallets’ of Baby Formula Amid Shortage

This is fairly solid proof that the US government is attempting to destroy US citizens.

When we we push back with righteous rage?  God only knows.

Lawmaker Says Illegal Immigrants Getting ‘Pallets’ of Baby Formula Amid Shortage
By Jack Phillips

biggersmaller Print

A House Republican lawmaker alleged that baby formula is being shipped to illegal immigrant holding centers near the Mexico border amid a nationwide shortage of the products.

According to videos and photos posted by Rep. Kat Cammack (R-Fla.), the White House has allowed shipments of formula to the holding facilities.

“They are sending pallets, pallets of baby formula to the border,” Cammack wrote in two online postings Wednesday. “Meanwhile, in our own district at home, we cannot find baby formula,” she added, holding a photo of empty shelves where the formula would be.

The Clean Energy Minerals Reform Act Is The Wrong Solution For American Mining

This week, as Congress considers the so-called Clean Energy Minerals Reform Act, don’t buy the rhetoric. Democrats proposed this legislation to make permitting more difficult and dissuade investment, making our supply chains even more crippled. Let’s instead consider serious proposals that grow mining in America and secure our domestic supply chains.

PermaBear@ inflationary depression

I am getting to a point where I think that is what they want us to believe ... Weimar saw the greatest increase in assets like real estate,Stock markets, gold /silver
Bonds get killed (govt defaults in public sector)

What is happening is artificial rise in goods and services to mimic inflation thru shortages .Increase the price of oil until all prices have to rise because oil is in almost everything (manufacturing, transportation ,delivery
Heating air conditioning Refrigeration.
Wages are Not going up.In fact they are starting to drop

in 1988/89 we were able to raise our prices 10% a year without a murmur from customers(builders). That was real inflation.
someone said Cheap energy GREAT economy Hi cost of energy equals Bad economy
A lot of oil ,NG propane is being shipped to Europe rumor has it and it is choking our economy.
Almost like somebody wants to hurt America(fancy that)

Housing has been artificially pumped up By Blackrock and others..When they pull the rug out no one except a few will be able to manage.
America will be gone at least for years and maybe forever

Ben, I am complete agreement regarding this being intentional and not stupidity.  I will even go as far as to suggest Biden is a stage prop for a 'sad-demented-blundering-sad sack' that just doesn't seem to be able to 'get things right'.

Gary Allen in his early 1970s book 'None Dare Call it Conspiracy' argued that conspiracy and intention go together in that a pattern of consistently wrongheaded policy moves describe a clear plan playing out while ineptitude features policy changes that occasionally are in our favor.

At this point, no one could convince me that this is not the full manifestation of the plans described in William Guy Carr's book Pawns in the Game. He called it the great conspiracy or the WRM (World Revolutionary Movement).

I think Hillary would have done all this had she gotten into power.  Trump just delayed their plans for four years.

Apollo 637 " the plethora of voices on this board are rooting for the invaders."

I've noticed that too.  It likely has much to do with the influence of people like Tucker Carlson.  There used to be a time when 95% of Americans, especially republicans, were diehard anti-Russia.  That has changed dramatically in the last 5+ years.  I am not saying this is good or bad, it's just what it is.

The plethora of voices here are not so much 'for Russia' as they are for 'RIGHT and WRONG'.  NATO should abide by their treaties instead of worshipping Moloch and Baal and fomenting coups around the whirld as was done in Ukraine in 2014.  Zelensky IS THE INVADER.

Most of the traders that use astro in their toolbox of charts are  concerned about  this lunar eclipse on Monday

FULL MOON ECLIPSE IN SCORPIO:

This month lunar peak falls on Monday May 16th at 12:14 A.M. EDT at 25 degrees Scorpio 18 minutes, & it’s a Lunar Eclipse! As many of you know, Eclipses come in pairs. They’re afraid to travel alone (lol). This one occurs in Scorpio, with the Sun in Taurus, where the Solar Eclipse happened on April 30th. We are going to experience the completion of the Taurus-Scorpio polarity and issues of values and joint ventures will be heightened. So much is resting on the economic situation in the world. There is the worst inflation in 40 years, a weakened stock market, food shortages, supply chin problems and a world on edge as it decides just what it values most. War is raging in Ukraine and it will escalate. As I mentioned earlier in this newsletter, “on October 25th we will have a Solar Eclipse at 2 degrees Scorpio, and a Lunar Eclipse on November 8th (yes, Election Day!!!) at 16 degrees Taurus, each in the opposite sign of the current eclipses. What takes place now will in some ways be resolved exactly on Election Day. The importance of this heavenly event cannot be overstated. Our nation and the world could be profoundly changed this year as values and resources are confronted in a new way.”

But let’s talk about some more positive ways this can manifest.

For one thing, if we don’t reestablish our changing values periodically we will stifle and become less productive and hardened. That’s never a positive approach to things. “The only constant is change”, an old saying that has more meaning the older I get. This represents a fresh, new approach to things that can lead to some important changes. It is only through an honest and, at time, painful evaluation of where we are heading that we can fix a small crack in the road before it becomes a massive sinkhole. America, and the world, has become a battleground of ideology and a struggle for the truth. The misinformation war fueled by propaganda and blatant lies threatens our ability to sift through the ridiculous amount of garbage that is spewed on a daily basis through social media and new outlets. Elon Musk has bought Twitter. How many of you believe that will be a good thing for the average person trying to navigate their way through these muddy waters?

But we can’t change that. All we can do is keep an open mind and try not to fall prey to the misinformation machine churning out the agenda of one side or the other. The truth is out there, if you’re willing to seek it. Jupiter rules the law and lawyers, and its sign Sagittarius is well-known as the truth-teller, often with a filter to squash what needs to be heard. As Jupiter begins its journey through this sign I believe some very vital information will be released, and it may have a profound effect on the world and how it assimilates information, both truth and lies. And that can certainly have a positive result.

Ancients on earth have use sound waves and light waves for many areas of our lives. I also think thy used the earths gravitational field for cheap energy. The green energy movement is a total false flag event. Over the years the reading I have done has pointed out that the cost of energy and material going into producing solar or wind never get returned in the life of the product. Also recycling these items is much to costly. So nothing but lies, lies and lies. The cost of producing a battery pack in commodities alone does not justify electric cars. Also our grid cannot handle this and from what are we generating electricity from?  NUTS

Lets go Branden

I don’t see how Powell can ease off as long as oil continues higher.

And if the Fed continues to raise I don’t see how any market can bottom yet.

IMO they’ve run this market up on early short covering and shorted again.  Though that theory is anything but certain.  We are due a short, sharp bear market rally lasting at least a week or so.

Bearishness and the markets.

Of course the bullish argument is that investors have been bearish now for quite a while and the bottom is here if not very near.  It’s a good argument.  Indeed there is extreme fear in the market right now.

But extreme is the key word.  Once the market rallies enough to take “extreme” off the table the general downtrend should continue.

So, if the contrarian argument is the market has been bearish for too long, try and recall just how many years sentiment was bullish.

Been nibbling on a few more Sludge stocks until today.
Today has been strong but not liking the softness in SPX/NDX since lunch ..
and the silver stocks have also come back since then.
Not going to hold 'em .. Sold 'em .. out with a minor loss.

If the DOW & we are trading the SM like it or not right here - if DOW can go out at or near its high, this little Bear-Market-Bounce will follow-through on Monday. Not sure how much longer after a Monday morning pop - tight stops

It would of course help, if Gold would play ball

Even with today's gains my portfolio lost 11% this week.  It is down 25% for the last four weeks.  It feels like I own technology stocks in the NASDAQ instead of PM stocks.

Here is an appropriate song for this schooling

It's an old one from 1974

Billy Preston - Nothing From Nothing (1974)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8HqyEHqEYho

That being said, if someone can explain how to set up a save wallet to PB1 he may pop for $12000 to buy a bitcoin if'n it gets that low again.

Jesse, I've lost $20,000 since the 1st of the year.  Wipes out the sum total of gains I have had over the last 3 years.  Bulk of the damage is in two municipal bond funds and PM stocks.  AG and EXK are off 45% from where I bought them.

11679....I'm still on the sidelines, wolavka....too flakey-shakey for me to take on even a day trade situation, as news and rumors and associated markets seem to be causing these wild-ass gyrations when least expected....not my kinda market to try to trade...maybe back in my youth, but I'm a bit cautious at my age....older than dirt...

Permabear;

I wish I could say I lost $20K in the last 4 weeks.  I lost more than that on just one stock.  But, then again, technically speaking, I didn't gain or lose anything since I haven't sold anything.

I didn't lose anything as I haven't done anything with my physical stuff and hadn't planned to anyway....But, I did make one timely sale about April 18th, I believe, when I hauled a 3-gallon bucket of old, junky, sterling flatware and related stuff down to a local coin shop and offed it...spot was about $26.20 at that time, so I've gotta figure I made $700+ more by selling back then than I could get today....there was about 160+oz. of pure in the deal -vs- 175-oz of sterling product....

Highwire podcast - This is an interview with Geert Vanden Bossche, who is a top expert in vaccinology. Used  to work for the Gates foundation. He says that a disaster may be coming for highly vaccinated populations due to Original Antigenic Sin (Antibody Dependent Efficiency).

Not an easy one to follow, this is very technical.

My brother used to say .. """Stocks are only worth TODAY what someone will pay for it TODAY."""
I now agree with that .. if I hold on for next week or next month, HOPING it will go up, well, I'm dreaming.

It's better to develop an approach whereby a SELL signal is triggered if   "X"  or  "Y"   occurs.
It takes the emotion out of it, and will preserve capital for another day.

Of course, if you're an ex-pawnbroker or coin-shop guy like our two kindred posters (ref .. pyrite & NW) ..
Well, you have massive wealth and can afford to lose 50% and still laugh about it.
BUT, if you and I lose 50% ... it has to rise 100% to get back to where we bought it.

11689...that's a rather presumptuous post, Tom....I dunno about Pyrite, but I probably took more "hits" running that business than many here claim to have taken....When there's "liquidity" as coins and bullion offer, there are a great many scammers and outright crooks trying to get some "easy money"...Unfortunately, part of operating that sort of business involves daily risks much greater than a 4-week slide in the metals markets....But, it's good to know that Pyrite and I can **** away our assets and not flinch....heh-heh....you obviously don't know my wife!

The Clean Energy Minerals Reform Act Is the Wrong Solution for American Mining

https://www.realclearenergy.org/articles/2022/05/11/the_clean_energy_minerals_reform_act_is_the_wrong_solution_for_american_mining_831823.html?fbclid=IwAR3svu-

"And finally, the bill imposes punitive royalties on hardrock mines in America. Every new mine that survives litigation would be subject to a 12.5% royalty. Meanwhile, existing mines aren’t immune either: a functioning mine would owe 8% of everything they extract to the federal government. Hardrock resources cover a wide variety of minerals, occur in unique geologic formations, and all have varying commodity prices. The one-size-fits-all royalty scheme proposed by Chairman Grijalva and President Biden in his Interagency Working Group Recommendations, like upending the claims system, is another bold attempt to shutter investment."
