tuna 1.69 Spaghettios 1.43 Pop Tarts 2.69 Fritos 3.69 ...
by the time you get to checkout:
tuna 1.71 Spahettios 1.46 Pop Tarts 2.75 Fritos 3.99 ...

Gee WileE, that is a deadly diet. If it went up 100% per day you would be better off unless you are still on EBT.

hey Erle...mine was built in 1894 and has those same coal burning fireplaces
we installed gas burning logs
the fireplaces (12 of them)are our only heat source
only heat the rooms we are using at the time
greatly decreases heating costs

Spaghettis……brought a chuckle in my heart….

There is a smoked fish market in Prairie du Cheine Wis that used to sell fish arseholes in a can…(had home printed label on can)
Took that can to a party and everyone wanted to be brave enough to eat one….great fun n games…til…a young father shows up and asked what’s in the can spaghettios?

Was fun til he showed up…😂

He feels silver is very undervalued compared to almost any other metal. Silver remains the only metal that is still below its 1980 high and on an inflation-adjusted basis.

Silver is volatile but that’s not a good reason to not have exposure. Silver is utilized 55% by industry and three quarters come from the production of other metals as a by-product. If the price of silver rises it may not have much effect on the producer’s margins.

In 2020 when the pandemic started and there was a lot of interest in silver the ETFs brought in 330 million ounces. This was four times the previous year’s levels. ETF units tend to stick around and the number of ounces tends to remain in these funds.

Silver tends to outperform gold during a bull market and this may be caused by the perception of high gold prices. They feel like they get more with silver instead and it becomes a natural alternative.

He discusses the best macro factors for gold and why real rates are very telling of where precious metals will head. He also provides us with a chart that compares home prices with silver and why that could be an opportunity.

He discusses some warning signs that silver may be peaking at price. Also, a gold-silver ratio of 30 along with the Dow to silver ratio could be an important signal. If you look at these indicators together it should paint a pretty clear signal.

Peter believes that CBDC will exacerbate inflation problems because it will make printing and distributing money easier.

Physical gold and silver have no counterparty risk and no risk from a lack of internet or electricity. They are private and have all the ideal characteristics of what money should be.

Lastly, he provides some general advice on how investors may want to weigh their portfolio in silver and miners.

Spent a week on Waikiki getting back home last wed. Had a great time... Gas Avg was $5.29 but a gallon of Milk was a whopping $7.89! My God, the children!!! Everything was 40-100% higher except for... wait for it... SPAM! it was 50 cents cheaper than the cheapest price I have seen here. Also, we flew Hawaiian Airlines non-stop Phoenix-Honolulu both ways and they were great! Flew on an Airbus A330-200 and it was a fantastic ride and nothing but smiles! A mask never touched our faces from start to finish and our Senior bus passes, good for a month were only $6 each which included unlimited bus rides all over the Island of Oahu. The Bus's were great and we never waited more than 15min for any bus.

If you want to rent a car, be prepared for a minimum of $150/day plus $50 to park it over night.

The place is lousy with homeless beggars in places but I just ignored them.  Saw numerous police actions and they didn't seem to tolerate complaints from us tourists regarding harassing homeless...

Our timing was perfect with the mask BS and super cheap fares. It has nearly doubles since our trip. We stayed at the Waikiki Resort hotel for 7 days.

Doorstops are still on sale. slAg is a whole lot higher than the years at sub five dollars with some selling points interspersed. It has done far better than the slAg miners. If I wanted PM stock action like this, I should have bought LYFT. Trash like AirBnB that has never made a penny got jammed up by short covering five times more than money making miners.
Do you want to see an intractable hassle? Just tote up your miners that have gone to zero and attempt to write them off on scheissbag goomint tax forms. Somehow the borkers that bought up the borker that bought another borker see to have lost the records. Always get a cert to paper your bathroom.

Pt is ok as from the bottom it has kept somewhat close to the rise in Dinty Moore canned stew. Any look at the price action on canned goods will leave that dense element in the dust.
I will suggest, even if it is too late, to sell metals and stock up on the food crap that went up 20% from last week.
What do I know, coming from a jerk? I got a flat of decent canned stew and face the wrath of the wife who never can say what she bought costs. Mentions of gigantic price increases in production are fended by accusing me of being constantly having a negative attitude.
Here, have a nibble on the silver doorstop. I need to scope out thallium futures.

Dunno BigleyG, I lost interest in pop muzac at the commencement of drug rock. WileE is correct  about his Eight Miles High crapola. That was about the time that I drifted away from the goomint muzak. My wife hates every groove in every disc that I own. "Do you have to play it so loudly?" when it is ten Db below the feckin TV and barely audible. I'd rather go with Texas Swing than most of the stuff post 1966 when I was a young teen. Perhaps my problem is with my subconscious rejection of their jackass superior consciousness. Besides I never was big on multiple listenings to get a hang on their stupor lyrics. Feck the Beatles and every pop junk from then, and that includes the atrocious Strawberry Alarm Clock that you referenced earlier this week.
I'd like to be happy and listen to notable muszak but I am hopeless as a MSM type of guy.

An aside. I likely needed roofing coming up in 2001. I ended up with a total strip in '07 long after copper was well under a dollar on paper but around a buck for  .030" last forever roof.  It is not easy to find a roofer that can properly solder the joints to make for a three hundred year fix.
Why dwell on the past? I am hearing on the radio that the hike in funding will increase my mortgage and credit card debt. For once I am unaffected by these ginormous levies on the indebted.
I really do hate the goo at all levels. Tell me again how the donald will rescuing the impossible.

On gold he had said the past couple of weeks he would be buying with both hands 1776-1780, now he mentioned 1812 this am.

The NDX yesterday to today reminded me of a fairly intelligent guy with a bad attitude at NE HS Lincoln, Nebraska. (Good public school)
Anyway he attempted a Bat-Turn and rolled his fifty dollar '49 Plymouth either seven or nine times according to witnesses. He came back about ten days later with blue stuff covering his facial wounds. I had to congratulate him on his stupid stunt. Too bad Janet Yellen wasn't in the passenger seat.

I am wondering why we have so few birds this spring. Yes, it has been cold, but not much other than a few robins. No warblers or native sparrows or the usual migrating wood thrushes. Are they mostly dead from another Fauci science project?

NatGas production has depended on low interest rates for well over a decade, sweet spots are almost gone, interest rates rising and inventory builds shrinking in size in YOY comps. A perfect storm. Eerily Similar to Barrick mining/laundering Gold for 2 decades at no profit. 100 million ozs of production over 2 decades and the best they can say is we are now debt free. Truly pathetic. Clown show.

11175......"Battery cars are stupid."......absolutely, as are the brainwashed idjits who buy them!...last year, our twin grandaughters headed out from Phoenix as passengers in one of their friend's Tesla, heading for San Diego on a 'girl's getaway'....their normally 5-hour trip ended up taking 9+ hours as they had to stop twice for recharging....The benefit of the experience, though, was that it changed the twin's minds of even considering anything "plug in" for themselves....

AF 11177 nice hand btw.
You put it succinctly. ZIRP funded the NG and olio boom. The astonishingly stupid EU/GB point to LNG supplies to wean themselves off of the hated Russian supplies. Howzit goin' for you now?

1179 N'w, electric cars could be useful if the damned goomint would get out of the way. Take 1000 lbs off of them for the SAFETY, and they could be just fine for local trips. The Karens can stay with their bloated SUVs while short commuters would have to become more wary of idiot drivers. Somewhat like an electric bicycle X2.

The oversold narrative of record productivity fuelling GDP vs near record low labour participation rate and near record unemployment rates appears on thin ice.

-Worker productivity fell 7.5% in the first quarter, the fastest decline since 1947.
-At the same time, labor costs as measured against productivity soared 11.6%, bringing the increase over the past four quarters to 7.2%, the fastest rise in about 40 years.
-Weekly jobless claims increased to 200,000, well above the Wall Street estimate.

I am not so sure that the goomint has made the case on why the Russians are so bad. If the newly conjured Ministry of Truth can get their message past the Department of Redundancy Department I will examine their efforts to keep us on their reservation.

AF 11183, the Calvinist work ethic is dead; killed by lefty goomint.
Try to find a HS graduate that can solve for the hypotenuse of a 3-4-5 right triangle even if shown the Pythagorean answer. All businesses that attempt to be profitable on labor costs should install Russian jamming systems in their shop.

Electric cars... Toyopet has got it right for many years with the Prius, or as I call them, Priapus. If they dumped the grossly goomint mandated SAFETY weight they could be almost fun. GATA have an IC backup if you want to go anywhere which I don't do. A tank of gasoline lasts me about three months.

It's rally time! BTFD to get rich. Just because the big favorites have a P/E above forty and pay no dividend, you can hope for another sucker to take it off of your hands. Time is getting short,so do not fail to heed.

11185.....am I surprised?  Not in the least....the absurdly restrictive 'state regulations' on manufacturing entities has already pushed half-a-dozen or more mid-sized companies to leave the NW....if the tightness and jump-through-our-green-hoops attitudes continue, I expect PacCar to be one of the next to say "adios' Inslee, you stupid bassard!"  Being one of the "in" crowd, Howard Schultz (Starbucks) seems to be playing right along now having substituted PAPER straws for the former plastic ones in his stores....sheesh....about 2 minutes into a hot mocha and the damn straws start to unravel....ain't this save-the-planet sh*t just great?!?!

Norwester - yea, PACCAR, I worked there in the Corp division in downtown Bellevue for a year - they are a "right leaning" bunch -King of the Trucker & rail business - they can't be happy right now.

The problem PACCAR has is all the infrastructure at Pacific Car & Rail in Renton & the manufacturing hub for the K-Woppers in South Seattle is 100s of millions to reproduce.

11193....a fair amount of their property where they often stored rigs temporarily was sold off a dozen or so years ago for development there near the Seahawks training facility and to shove in a few dozen condo units along the south end of Lake Washington and a sprawling 'strip mall' complex with many national franchise businesses and a few decent restaurants....I believe they moved a lot of the "pending" units up to their Mount Vernon training facility after that....parts are made, now, as I'm sure you know, all over the country in some 2,200 facilities they have...

GATA like the sporty bitcoin. It easily can withstand a dive better than the laggard NDX. Proven in thin air!
The bright side is that TWTR is up!!! Elon bought a pig in a poke.

A pig in a poke is a thing that is bought without first being inspected, and thus of unknown authenticity or quality.

Up 150 on NDX in a one minute bar that got sold the next minute.
Why am I so easily amused. It must be from a life in gold stocks.

Why, thankew, Erle for that recognition....

"In all of my excitement of watching the ticker, I forgot that it is Cinco de Mayo so, belatedly, I greet Nor'wester on his longstanding residency permit."
.
...yeah, well they let my old man, a full-blooded Polack, and my Mother, an Irish-English mix slip in at Ellis Island to produce me years later....It's kinda humorous, though, you saying that in that when I met my first wife during my early Sophmore year of college, it was following a summer I'd worked as a life guard and swimming instructor (for little rug-rats), and I was damn near black with a suntan that would have made George Hamilton jealous.....The gal's father was sure I was a Mexican and kept a close watch on me those first few months I was dating his daughter....I showed him my papers and he left me alone....heh-heh...
